View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Characters should be made using options from the 2024 Player's Handbook. Additional character options can also be used from 'Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerun' only. Character creation will take place as part of Session 0 (or with the option of a one-to-one character creation before your first session if joining later in the campaign). Ultimately, there’s no pressure to know how to create a character beforehand! If you like, there are also ✨pre-made characters available✨ for you to use if you don't want to have to worry about character creation. Characters will start at level 1 (or the same level as the rest of the party if joining later) with character options shared with you. Stats will be generated via a choice of arrays, including the standard array.
What to expect

We will also be using Foundry VTT for which, you simply need one of their compatible web-browsers such as: Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Edge (Safari is not a supported browser at this time). In order to access our Foundry game you will also need to set up a free Forge account, which I will guide you through. Whilst webcams are encouraged they are optional.
What Wayne Ingram brings to the table
🧭 Detailed exploration of the D&D world and wilderness. ⚔️ Edge of your seat combat. 🎭 Voice-acted NPCs 🎶 Scene specific ambiance and music. 🎨 Animated images and backdrops for theatre of the mind scenes. 🛠 Premium Assets and Tokens for grid based scenes. 🤗 A safe and accepting space for all 💪 Support for newbies!
Homebrew rules
My games feature 'Safe Haven' resting, in which the rules and prerequisites for resting dynamically shift depending upon the environment in which the party find themselves in. In short, the safer the location, the easier it is to rest. Built into this rule, there are also mechanics in place to allow the party to adapt the environment around them to make it easier to rest.

How Wayne Ingram creates a safe table
Players will be provided with an online version of Monte Cook's RPG Consent Checklist to fill in before their first session. This will provide me with any details with regard to lines and veils etc. X, N & O's can be digitally messaged in chat or privately too. During Session 0 as well as building characters we will discuss any themes to expect to come up in the game as well as establish an agreed upon play-style and expectations of conduct. After sessions have concluded, players will also be able to share their stars and wishes for the game, ensuring that the overall experience for the campaign continues to be tailored to the collective table's tastes as best as possible
