About the adventure

** Example for the kings heirloom: ** In the realm of Taurencio, a fragile peace between kingdoms hangs on a legendary royal artifact known as the Clawed Clutch — the very relic that once turned the tide of war. Now, the artifact has vanished, and though the public remains unaware, King Richard Laudenbock secretly calls for adventurers to recover it before conflict reignites. Chosen heroes will face dangerous trials, unravel hidden conspiracies, and uncover truths that could reshape the realm. The question is: will you answer the call before war returns?

About me

So! I’ve been dming for about 2 and a half years, I’m mostly versed in dnd but have dabbled in Warhammer and lore/rules of other games like malifaux, real creative and imaginative stuff! I’m 22, huge anime video game fanatic and love books and manhwa! As far as dnd Play goes I’ve been playing for about 7 years in mostly homebrew campaigns and roughly 2 years of official dnd amongst the 7.

Character creation

Creating your character

So starting level will be level 3, any published races and classes are acceptable as long as their official content like crooked moon for example. Characters will be created on dndbeyond and I allow 2014 AND 2024! The way it’ll work is whatever class you choose, if you choose 2014 barbarian then it will abide by 2014 barbarian rules And if you pick 2024 as a caster you can only use 2024 spells. Characters will be made on dndbeyond and stats must be rolled.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

There will need to be accounts made for dndbeyond and discord as discord will be our communication and dndbeyond will be our vtt.

What Ace brings to the table

I utilize voices that make sense for the moment and character as well as use music for the settings as best as possible- combat can get crazy in a cinematic sense not mechanic break wise as I’m very rule of cool.

Homebrew rules

Rule 1. Grappling: To initiate grapple as well as contest it, you're allowed to use acrobatics AND athletics. You can attack someone you've grappled and have advantage. As a bonus action you can attempt to pin the enemy but if you fail then you lose the grapple. Rule 2. Healing potions: They can be used as a bonus action Rule 3. Bonus action: 2 Can be used as long as they're different categories. Example: A goblin monk can use racial nimble escape, attack and monk bonus action unarmed strike. Bonus action categories in which these apply are: Racial BA Class BA Potion BA Item BA Only 2 categories can be used on your turn in combat UNLESS you have something like action surge. Rule 4. Interactions: In combat you can interact and it won't count as an action depending. If you open a door, you can still have an action but if you lift or throw a boulder then the interaction counts as an action. Rule 5. Magic Casting: I rule that you don't need spell components UNLESS it's for a spell which consumes the ingredients And I also rule that Sorcerer's don't need a spell casting focus. These are some examples.
