About the adventure
Icewind Dale is locked in an eternal Winter that has lasted two years so far, with no signs of stopping. Whether you start as an adventurer or a native to the area, all are affected by the terrible storms, freezing cold, and endless winter. Your party of ragtag adventurers will start by undertaking the tasks of the town, gaining fame and information. If you can survive the harsh environment, you may even grow to adventure out and put an end to this frozen hellscape.

About me
I'm a relatively new DM to the TTRPG world, but am glad to be part of this community. I have been playing DND for about 5 years, and have loved every minute of it. I started DMing for friends and am now expanding my horizons online, by request from social media. D&D veterans are welcome at my table, and new players are invited to join! As a career personal trainer, I have a love for teaching people how to excel in their hobbies. I look forward to hosting your adventure!

Creating your character
Players can choose to play a pre-made character, create one on their own, can wait for session 0 to create with the rest of the players, or If players have a character they made previously, they can speak to me directly about it. If you choose to make a character with the group, I will walk you through that process during session 0 and we will make them together. Characters should be created using DNDBeyond, where the DM will have access to them as well (as a formality, to make the game go smoother). You will recieve the link to create or add your character to DNDBeyond once you sign up. Character Creation Guidelines: 2024 or 2014 character classes (Mixed-bag game) Extended books ok No 3rd party content Starting level 1 (If joining after session 0, confirm with GM) Fixed HP Use Encumbrance Ignore Coin Weight Ability scores Point Buy or Standard Array Starting equipment Standard Additional equipment may be given if joining game at later level.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Needs: Microphone, DND Beyond Account for Character Sheets, Discord account for audio, video, and, chat functions within the party. Recommendations: Dice (DND Beyond has functions for dice rolling within the game, which can be used. However, if you want to use Physical Dice, you are welcome to) A good attitude
What Wolfe the DM brings to the table
There will be a Discord Server for this campaign where you can communicate as needed with the other players and the DM. This server is where the video/audio session will be hosted. We will use DND Beyond for character creation, storage, etc. I will be using DND Beyond Maps as the virtual tabletop. Instructions to access this feature will be sent out on the day of the session via the discord server and chat.

How Wolfe the DM creates a safe table
Using discord, there will also be a private chat between each player and the DM so that if something is happening during a session it can be communicated. We will also follow the rule of X, N, & O's during game so that players can raise concerns as they come up. After each session there will be a time to Debrief and use Stars and Wishes to discuss what is going well and what needs to change.
