About the adventure
You are a member of the greatest adventuring party in the World On the cusp of your retirement you are being called to one final job A City has fallen into darkness, no sun has shown for weeks. Its populace has fled, crops failed and order crumbled while darkness reigns. Every day the area of gloom spreads wider and wider with no end in sight The source of this curse has been found inside the Veil Opera House at the center of the city A powerful group of heroes was already called but they disappeared inside the Opera House without a trace and have not been seen or heard since All you know is the being behind this curse cannot be harmed by any weapon or touched by any spell You and your friends are the final hope This one-shot is designed to be a fun and puzzle-combat focused set of encounters with each one having a unique way to complete. It relies heavily on cooperation among the party, and has a through line of RP as well. The goal is a fun blend of tactics and teamwork in order to defeat the final boss.

Greetings, fellow travelers, my name is Leland and I am a Storyteller and Game Master with experience in TTRPG's, Live Action Role Play and writing. Thanks so much for checking out my profile and considering me to be your GM: whether you are a beginner at sitting down at a TTRPG table, or the most grizzled of veterans pulled in for one more "last job" I look forward to making a memorable experience with you! For me the passion for gaming started back in jr. high, over twenty years ago. I loved how much more immersed and interactive a roleplaying game was compared to the board games and video games I grew up playing. The love for the hobby followed me into university where I created a school sponsored organization celebrating all types of gaming and dedicated to bringing together a community of folks passionate to engage! Since then, I've helped tables as a GM to develop that same community aspect. A place where you don't just show up and leave on time like some 9-5 job, you're here to make memories with some awesome players who love the game as much as you. Creating your character
Characters can be created on DND Beyond using the link in Discord and will be imported into Foundry before the session. If you would like assistance creating your character we can touch base prior to the session. Guidelines: -DND 2024 rules -Ability scores through Point Buy -Published Wizards of the Coast Content Only -Fixed HP -Feats and Multiclassing allowed -Each character will start with their choice of mundane equipment as well as (1) Very Rare, (2) Rare and (2) Uncommon Item. (5 items total, DM approval required)
