About the adventure
The fabled Witchlight carnival visits once every 8 years, it's a theatrical show of incredible proportions. Rides of all kinds, displays of skill and prizes to be won. But when you visited as a child you snuck in and didn't buy a ticket, in doing so losing something in the process. Now as an adult you find yourself pulled to the carnival anew, some sense of longing for that missing piece dragging you to the carnival. While exploring the carnival you'll play games of skill, see feats of daring do from circus hands all while ensuring the circus is a roaring success! But something calls to you, pulling you deeper into the carnival. A night of fun and revelry is not all that fate has in store for you at the Witchlight carnival.

About me
Hi! I'm Mike As someone that has played and run tabletop games for over 15 years, I've found countless hours of enjoyment in roleplaying games. I've been playing some form of D&D since I was in school, starting out initially playing 3.5 with friends at college. As time passed I moved from just playing to running One-shots and Stories for those very friends, I found that while being a player is a fun experience, being able to write stories for others is where I thrive. This grew from One-shots to full campaigns where I transitioned from just a part time dungeon master. I started homebrewing, building my own unique worlds, which players bring to life with the actions and tales they weave within it. I still run established modules and find them to be great frameworks and backgrounds to the characters within, allowing players to shine as stand out individuals within the established lore of the system they are in. This gives me the chance to showcase player character backstories and quests.

Creating your character
Characters can be created before hand, I ask players either use standard array or point buy to create a character. I'll be using the new 2024 rules for monsters and general rules. Any subclasses from older 2014 rules are permitted.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Ensure you have discord installed for voice and a working headset/microphone for communication. Foundry otherwise does everything else. All you need to connect is an internet browser.

With extensive experience in tabletop gaming, including Dungeons & Dragons and various other systems, I offer a patient and approachable style of play. I take pride in bringing characters to life with a range of voices, ensuring an immersive experience. Additionally, I provide high-quality maps, custom token art, and access to Foundry VTT for an enhanced virtual tabletop experience.
