About the adventure
When you’re framed by powerful enemies, the line between outlaw and hero becomes very thin. This medium length campaign is a fast-paced, beginner-friendly adventure full of big action, bold choices, and cinematic fun. Outlaws of Alkenstar begins in the City of Smog, a steampunk frontier where guns rule the streets, magic is tightly controlled, and justice favors those with money and influence. From the opening scene, your characters find themselves dodging bounty hunters, making shady deals, and surviving gunfights in the streets of Alkenstar. Trusting your crew and knowing your enemies is the only way to stay alive long enough to clear your names. You don’t need Pathfinder or even roleplaying game knowledge to jump in. This campaign is designed to teach the game as you play, while keeping things fun and exciting for players of all skill levels. We'll be using the official Foundry VTT module from Paizo. Creating your character
I would like to work with players to create characters prior to the first session. We'll be using the most updated Pathfinder 2E rules as written. I will reach out once registered to talk about your thoughts on characters.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We'll be using Foundry Virtual Tabletop to play and Discord for communication. The adventure uses Paizo's official Foundry VTT version of the module which includes tons of maps and resources. There's no cost for the Foundry software and it's all web based. I'll send out server information once registered. I've been in using Foundry VTT for many years and have a suite of modules designed to make gameplay fast and easy for players, so don't worry if you've never tried the software.
What GM Ant brings to the table
Outlaws of Alkenstar Is an action-packed, heroic adventure and the campaign will have the same feel. We'll be playing the campaign pretty much as written, which consists of three adventure books. I've ran this adventure as well as hundreds more for Pathfinder, and I'm looking forward to meeting new players, especially those that are just learning Pathfinder!
Homebrew rules
No specific home brew rules, but I'm up for discussion of quality of life or cosmetic changes if the entire party agrees.
