About the adventure
Welcome to Gauntlight Keep! Above the sleepy lumber town of Otari stands a lighthouse that has been abandoned for time immemorial - but tonight, while you are in town, it wakes up, and a ghostly blue light casts its gaze on the surrounding lands. What does it mean? You will answer adventure's call and delve into unknown depths to make your mark, and forge the fate of the world around you. Whether you decide to solve the mysteries of the keep and protect the realm from its dangers as a noble adventurer, as a simple treasure hunter looking for relics, or as someone with reasons to seek Gauntlight's power for their own gain; the choice is yours! Using my extensive experience as a GM and as a Foundry VTT host, I will take you through an unforgettable dungeon adventure in a system designed from the ground up for just that purpose. In an environment and story built for you and your party, you will get to take chances, make mistakes, and push open the sides of the sandbox. This will be a highly responsive campaign where you get to paint the canvas in your own color - I am not going to passively run the adventure path as written. This game will be using premium content from Foundry VTT. In addition, I am the proud creator of custom battlemaps which may be included in the game when appropriate, making sure that your experience with the game will be unlike anyone elses. Life is hard; Playing roleplaying games shouldn't be. Your time is precious, and will be respected - I pride myself on giving everyone the attention and spotlight they deserve, and giving you an experience that leaves you hyped for the next game, and great times to share with your friends. Now it's your turn to roll.

About me
I've been hosting games for friends and professionally for years now, and love to bring the spirit of adventure to the table. I've been enjoying Pathfinder and Starfinder a lot lately, and I love seeing the party work together to overcome challenges. Expect a game that will challenge your ability to work as a team tactically, mixed in with plenty of memorable characters and emotional moments. I love: ā Teaching the game to new players ā Crafting interesting encounters that challenge the players in different ways. ā Introducing memorable characters - even minor actors like the merchants and messengers! ā Seeing the players change the story through their interesting character choices and narrative decisions. No two games are alike. ā Giving the players options and loot they've never seen before - something special, just for them.

Creating your character
Session 0 we'll get together and go over the player's guide, and come to a group consensus about how to form the adventuring party. We can do character creation together, letting the more experienced members of the group help the newer ones. It's not a particularly long process, and I'm open to people changing some aspects of their character early on in the campaign.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Bring a friendly attitude and a spirit of adventure! For those who are new to Pathfinder and have experience with D&D, welcome! This campaign is a great opportunity to learn the ropes of the system and get involved in some iconic battles against a fresh palette of creatures from high fantasy and beyond. I only request that you must have a working mic, and if you wish to have voice activation on, that you don't have excessive background noise or are willing to switch to push-to-talk if it becomes an issue. Players will create their characters together before or during session 0 to create a strong group dynamic and immersive character goals/plots. I use FoundryVTT and Discord as my methods for Roleplaying, though no experience is needed with Foundry to start - all you need is a bit of patience to learn, and we will teach. A Discord account is required. Besides that, no software is neede! Some recommended tools to assist in character creation would be Pathbuilder (free), and learning basic familiarity with the Foundry VTT tool controls is an asset, but not required. I love creating stories that I can share with my own friends, and I know you will too - this adventure path is sure to bring lots of memorable moments of brevity, levity, close calls, nail biting victories and heartwrenching defeats.
What Ambitosis brings to the table
Besides everything you'd expect from a virtual TTRPG module professionally prepared, you'll have access to a living adventure journal that details how you and your teammates have done in the campaign so far. Very useful for sharing stories with friends, looking up notes for things the group may have forgotten, or even just for having a good laugh about the good times and the bad. I also have a lot of purchased virtual content that I like to use - premium maps that I have made myself or have subscribed to, and my adventures are never limited to what's written in the campaign books. Any maps that you would like to have access to for your own uses can be 'brought home', and a copy will be provided on request, as long as that map was 'fully explored' in-game.
Homebrew rules
Players hand out each other hero points ("inspiration" from 5e for those unfamiliar) at the end of the session to be used on the next one!

How Ambitosis creates a safe table
I like to have a session 0 where we lay all our expectations out on the table and make sure everyone's up for what's involved in the adventure. I have no problem changing the content of the adventure path to better suit people's comfort levels, as long as I'm told about it.
