About the adventure
Fanewick was once a place of great abundance and peace—dangerous to those unfamiliar with the land, but a cornucopia to those who respected its ways. When Haven invaded the wilds and forced the land into eternal spring, a dangerous bloom known as the Witherwild took hold and now threatens the lives of all who live there. In a Witherwild campaign, you’ll play unlikely heroes from humble, or not so humble, beginnings who are reckoning with their newfound duty to save Fanewick’s people from dangerous corruption. I'm new to GMing Daggerheart, and would prefer my players to be new as well, but I'm open to anyone playing.

About me
I'm relatively new at GMing, I frequently run D&D one-shots for friends and family, and have the materials to run a few other games as well, such as Daggerheart and Cyberpunk Red. I am also writing a D&D adjacent world, which I will be play testing as soon as I get it done.

Creating your character
Character Creation will be done together during session 0. I recommend Duality Codex for digital character creation, as it allows for Void materials, free play test classes, ancestries, domains and communities. I have a link in the campaign discord channel to the campaign I have set up within the app so you, as players, can get a head start if you want to.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord account needed, channel link will be in the prep materials. This will be almost entirely theater of the mind, but I will have some visuals for more complex encounters. Please have a digital dice roller or physical dice when we begin; you'll need a standard 7 dice set, and two extra D12, of differing colors (one light, one dark works great) for Hope and Fear. Duality Codex has dice in the app, but you are free to use whatever you feel comfortable using.
What Phoenix brings to the table
I try to run games that reward imagination, where not every encounter can, or should, be beaten with sword or spell. Where wording allows interpretation, I wholeheartedly embrace Rule of Cool. I will try to RP NPCs, adversaries, and the environment as best as I can.
