About the adventure
Once every eight years, the Witchlight Carnival arrives in a flurry of feywild whimsy, kaleidoscopic tents, wagons hauled by fantastical beings, impossible games, strange delights, and mysteries abound. This was the perfect storm to tempt a child to sneak in, though, you paid the price one way or another. Years later, the carnival returns, and so does the longing to reconnect with that lost bit of yourself that the carnival took as payment. This module is whimsical, with plenty of room for role playing and intrigue! This campaign, as well as my table, are beginner and LGBTQ+ friendly. Session 0 is free!

Creating your character
We will create characters during our free session 0, which will include a walkthrough and any help for those unfamiliar with FoundryVTT or filling out character sheets. FoundryVTT will be our primary playing venue, and where character sheets will be created and stored! Any published material is fair game to work with.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
For speaking purposes, we will be using Discord! I do recommend that players have a decent pair of headphones and a microphone, so we can hear and understand each other clearly! FoundryVTT has the ability to roll dice, and I would prefer if we stuck to using that to streamline the process a bit for newer players.
What Gin brings to the table
While playing with me, I provide: - Technical knowledge for the game, where I can help you familiarize yourself with the game in a judgment-free environment! - Immersion in the forms of role playing, music to set the scene, and artwork provided from the source material. - OPTIONAL, but if you want: hand-drawn artwork of your character! - Access to a growing discord server with friends and enthusiasts of the game alike!
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion counts as a bonus action, but feeding it to another character is an action.

How Gin creates a safe table
Before our session 0, you will receive a copy of the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist to fill out. From there, we will use the X-Card mechanic in whichever way is most comfortable for the player, whether it's holding one up on camera, typing it in chat, or privately messaging me.
