About the adventure

Setting (inspired by delicious dungeon): You are not the first party sent beyond the Rustsreach Pass. Weeks ago, a lucrative salt trader's caravan never made its destination in Yekkokatta. Days later, a band of was organized to uncover the disappearance of the caravan. They too fell silent. Now, with winter closing in and rumors of strangers lurking in the rocky pass, your group has been assembled as a last, desperate effort. Your journey begins at the edge of the Yekkokatta, a port city just south of the red rocked pass, where you will head north in hopes of retrieving survivors and to end what terrorizes Rustsreach. You are not heroes riding toward glory. You are a search party sent to find a search party tasked with recovering the Charter, uncovering the truth, and surviving long enough to return. Whether you succeed is uncertain. Whether you come back at all is even less so. Game: This will be mystery/tactical/puzzles type game as well as some goodly roleplay! I am excited to see what happens this a favorite one-shot of my own creation!

About me

I am a friend of the people and a passionate enjoyer of GMing roleplaying games. I have been part of this hobby for eight years, and it has connected me to a diverse range of enjoyable people while teaching me a great deal about storytelling. Something you should know about me is that I am a role-player at heart, I love creative players, and I really enjoy medieval history (with a particular fascination for trebuchets). I value living worlds that react meaningfully to player decisions and take themselves seriously... most of the time :). Achieving a flow state where characters truly come to life is my top goal. If you choose me as your GM, I will ensure that your character and their decisions take center stage alongside the other player characters, while also delivering engaging and fun combat encounters.

What Jacob brings to the table

📖 ───────────────────────────── 🎲 What I’ll Provide You 📖 ───────────────────────────── 💻 We will be playing our games over a video call. 🏰 We will use Roll20's virtual tabletop 🎶 Music 📜 For the most part we will stick to Rules as Written, but when the rules start to become unrealistic or overly complicated, we will revert to the Rule of Cool. 🎭 When not using the playsets, we will be mostly using the theatre of the mind. 🗣️ I am not a world class voice actor but I will give it my all 💧 Player comfort: ⏸️ We will take at least 2 breaks
