About the adventure
Synopsis: Independent Study You have been recommended. Not as apprentices, not as assistants, and certainly not as expendable labor—but as promising mage-scholars whose work has attracted the attention of a wizard with more ideas than time. Pellivar Quince, a respected and notoriously busy arcanist, has invited you to assist with an independent study. His request is simple: he is developing a new wand and needs capable spellcasters to carry it, use it in the field, and record what happens. The wand is functional, though still unfinished, and its behavior can be… unpredictable. Pellivar is confident in the project and unconcerned with minor irregularities. He assures you that the wand is safe enough for experienced hands, and that the inconsistencies are part of the research. After a brief explanation, a handful of warnings, and a surprisingly informal handoff, he leaves the wand in your care and departs for more urgent matters. You are free to travel, take work, and pursue your own goals while conducting the study. When situations arise where the wand might prove useful, you are encouraged to test it and note the results. Pellivar will review your findings when next you meet. What he does not say—but what becomes quickly apparent—is that unusual magic draws attention. Strange effects leave traces. Curious eyes notice patterns. And an unfinished wand carried openly through the world is rarely ignored for long. This is not an exam, and there are no correct answers. Only observations, consequences, and the growing realization that some research is easier to begin than to finish.

About me
For a decade, I’ve guided heroes through cursed kingdoms, shattered timelines, and the hearts of gods themselves. I don’t just run games, I craft living stories where players become legends. My journey with Dungeons & Dragons began right after my father passed. While in my grief, my friends offered a space at their table. They offered an escape from reality. I saw how powerful D&D could be. And since then, I have been hooked. In the pandemic, I used Tik Tok as a means to connect to others in the D&D community. I now have 95k followers. I post tips, ideas, and humorous D&D content for both players and Dungeon Masters.
