About the adventure
Fanewick was once a place of great abundance and peace—dangerous to those unfamiliar with the land, but a cornucopia to those who respected its ways. When Haven invaded the wilds and forced the land into eternal spring, a dangerous bloom known as the Witherwild took hold and now threatens the lives of all who live there. In a Witherwild campaign, you’ll play unlikely heroes from humble beginnings who are reckoning with their newfound duty to save Fanewick’s people from dangerous corruption. Campaign frame is best for those who like Princess Mononoke, The Dark Crystal, and Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind. New players to Daggerheart are welcome. This campaign is for heroes starting at level one and through experiencing challenges, your hero will be able to address their individual circumstances for personal growth. During Session Zero, we'll use Daggerheart's system to establish character concepts, so everyone is on the same page about the tone and feel of the campaign.

My name is RoscoGrowler, and I have over 10 years of experience running tabletop RPGs across a wide variety of game systems. While I’ve GM’d players through countless worlds, my primary focus is now on Daggerheart, where I enjoy creating immersive, character-driven campaigns filled with rich storytelling, tactical encounters, and collaborative roleplay.

Creating your character
We'll be having a Session 0 to discuss characters. However, feel free to create a character ahead of time in Demiplane, leaving the Experience, Background, and Connections for Session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We'll be using Roll20, Demiplane, and Discord. Make sure to have your Demiplane account link to your Roll20 account. We'll be making sure everyone is technically setup during Session 0.
What RoscoGrowler brings to the table
I truly enjoy running games, so expect fun crazy antics with moments of serious drama. I lean in "story first" so there is wiggle room for Rule of Cool. If you don't have a way to get character image, let me know and I'll provide one.
