About the adventure
Welcome to Waterdeep, the Crown of the North, where a wondrous tail of urban adventure is about to unfold. You will meet an iconic character named Volothamp Geddarm, better known as Volo, and others whose names may strike a common chord for players. This adventure takes place within the urban city of Waterdeep, one of the largest cities in Faerûn. It will include combat, puzzles and role playing and is open to all levels of players. Characters will advance from 1st to 5th level with an option to advance to 20th level by stepping into the game Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage.

About me
Dungeons and Dragons is a favorite game of mine and I have been a GM for the last few years which has been instrumental in building my love for this game. I enjoy helping new players learn the ins and outs, but I also like to GM for experienced players as well. I feel the online community is one of the most welcoming and encouraging group of players around. I also enjoy in person games. Creating your character
Once we have at least 3 players, we will schedule a session 0 where we will discuss character development. Please come to this session with a level 1 character created using the 2024 Player's Handbook (shared on the link below) and the character creation tool in the "Waterdeep Dragon Heist on SPG" campaign on dndbeyond.com here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/campaigns/join/61231181196940266 Please join my Discord server at: https://discord.gg/C8cvHGBVrQ. We will be using the Waterdeep channel for our voice and text communications.
This game will start at level 1. All character creation will be done on the campaign sight on dndbeyond. The rules for character creation are listed at the bottom of the campaign page. Please follow these rules exactly. We will use dndbeyond maps for our VTT and discord for voice.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need either a laptop or a desktop computer with access to the internet. There will be no need for a webcam at this time. Players will also need a good sense of humor and a readiness to role play.

I will bring a love for the game and the source books needed to play. I will also bring maps, music, and imagination.

How Bob creates a safe table
This will be a game for anyone over the age of 18, but we will not engage in any sexual activity. If you would like to flirt with the barmaid, you can, but anything beyond will be done in shadow. X, O and N will be presented in private to the DM on Discord.
