About the adventure
Tyranny of Dragons catches some flak from D&D players, and rightfully so in some cases - but after reading the adventure, I was convinced that a few tweaks could make it an absolute blast. And I believe that I've been able to do exactly that. If you want an epic globetrotting fantasy adventure, I truly think that this game will not disappoint. My version of Tyranny of Dragons will take you through towns, cities, forests, mountains, and oceans. You will face off against cultists, vampires, giants - and of course dragons. And your characters will discover secrets that threaten to throw the entire world out of balance!

About me
My name is David, and RPGs have changed my life. I'm sure most people reading this can relate to that statement in some way. I have been playing some form or another of a TTRPG for about five years, and most of that time has been spent as the GM.

Creating your character
I will give everyone free help with character creation before we start. I want to make sure everyone is comfortable - and don't worry if you don't know all the rules yet. It's perfectly fine to learn as we go!
Current party: Wizard, Sorcerer, Fighter, Rogue, Ranger. A healer (Cleric, Druid, Bard) would be most welcome!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I play through Discord, so you will need to have an account on that. As for a VTT, I use Owlbear Rodeo, which doesn't require an account for players and is very mobile friendly.
What David brings to the table
I will bring an enthusiastic desire to make everyone have as much fun as possible. I try really hard to do character voices, even if some of them don't sound as good as I would like. I like intense, tactical combat - but I also love it when players roleplay amongst themselves. I believe the rules are flexible, but still important. You will not be expected to know everything about this game - the most important thing is just having fun.
Homebrew rules
I sometimes use homebrew rules, but I plan on keeping it simple for this game.

How David creates a safe table
Before the game starts, we will discuss everything that is and isn't allowed at the table. I try and take great care to make sure everyone feels included and safe. I once had a player who was afraid of spiders, so I made it so that spiders in my world all look like puppies. If you are ever uncomfortable with anything at my table, please do not hesitate to message me and let me know.
