About the adventure
This is a game for those who still to this day love power rangers. those that always wanted to jump into action and help save the day with the rest of the teams. I am open to any level of experience players with the power ranger ttrpg system. i am more then willing to teach and any experienced players are more then welcome as well. the campaign will loosely follow the rules and format of the power ranger series with down time, monsters of the week, big combats, upgrades and unlocking new powers as well as an over all goal and end game for both the rangers and the villains. this world is like that of the show but not as child friendly. while this is not an 18+ game it will have more serious and adult themes within it as well as more adult content such as swearing, death, more explicit violence and the such. please take this into consideration when joining. The team that you yourselves will be a part of is up to you. we will work together as a group to decide what our team will be whether its a rework of an old team with custom rangers added, or a new ranger team from an unadapt series of super sentai, or even a wholly original team. this is all up to you as players and i will help bring your vision to life.

About me
I am a 21 year old university student in my last year of uni studying musical theatre. I have loved playing dnd and have been playing since I was a kid, starting from secondary school at the age of 15 and would love nothing more than to make it my full time job. I want to try and create worlds and stories that people can enjoy and marvel at not only with my imagination but also my players to form worlds and stories in every possible way. I have played games of primarily dnd but I have also played in games of other systems such as Kids on brooms, the avatar the last air-bender TTRPG (which is a powered by the apocalypse game) and several others in one shots and short campaigns. I have GMed many games over my time, playing these games both in person and online. I have had long term games lasting over several months up to over a year long and shorter games ranging from 1 session to 4 or 5 in various worlds and settings, both of my own creation and adapting other worlds. I by no means think I'm a perfect GM, in fact I know I have along way to go but I would genuinely love to nothing more than to gain more experience and learn how to better my abilities as a GM.

For your character i will be running a session 0 to sort out there character sheets and powers and of course suit colours. but think about who you are as a person. your parents, your life, where you're from. Are you new, have you been here for your whole life. what are you values and what are your goals. both in character and out of character what do you want this characters journey to be.

What Howler brings to the table
I will provide an engaging mix of compelling story and roleplay as well as fun and balanced combat. I use ambient music and character voices to bring the world to life as best as I can. I work within the rules but also understand that sometimes a rule can get in the way of the moment so allow for rule of cool when the moment deserves it. I will be the best Dm that i can possibly be but the story isn't just my responsibility. this is a world that will be created by all of us and i expect you all will have a hand in creating and moulding it to form the stories we will tell together. I love to see players interact not only with the world but also each other forming bonds and enemies as the story progresses. This is not just a game but also a way to build friendships and bonds that can last for years and i hope you are willing to take the time and enjoy this incredible experience with me.
Homebrew rules
due to the nature of the Power ranger ttprg system i will be often making rules judgements on the fly and i will potentially need to make homebrew rules to fix any issues that reoccur.

How Howler creates a safe table
for safety i will be starting session 0 off with a content warning and consent sheets to get a list of everyone's limits as well as any changes ill need to make to the story as i want to create a story that everyone feels safe in not just what i think is "cool" or "funny". i will also have stars and wishes as the end of every session. as well and colour cards in place. (green means all good, yellow means pause to talk, red means full stop) these cards will be in place at all times and can be used either with a simply message in chat or a verbal calling of the colour.
