About the adventure

Long ago, the gods and Titans fought a war that scarred the world. Centuries later, the Dragonlords rose as champions, defeated the Titans, and sealed the peace with the Oath of Peace. That oath has held for 500 years, but it is weakening. Old powers are stirring, prophecies are turning, and the next age of heroes is arriving. Your party is tied to that prophecy. This is a campaign for players who want epic adventure. Set sail between islands, explore lost temples, face monsters pulled straight out of legend, and make alliances with powerful factions, divine beings, and mortal kings. Style of Play: Mythic Exploration Ancient ruins, mysterious islands, divine secrets, and a world that rewards careful scouting and bold discovery. Expect colorful maps and locations that feel distinct. Cinematic, Tactical Combat Big fights, dangerous enemies, and set piece encounters that reward teamwork and smart play. Combat stays fast, clear, and engaging through strong prep and Roll20 automation. Role Play and Meaningful Choices Thylea is full of competing agendas, powerful patrons, and people who need heroes but do not always agree on what that means. Diplomacy matters, reputation matters, and your decisions follow you. Rules as Written, With Room for Creativity RAW is the foundation so you can plan your character without surprise house rules. I roll in the open. Risk is real, character death is possible, and success feels earned. When the rules do not cover a situation, creative play is encouraged and supported.

Safety

How Surok creates a safe table

Session 0 Discussion: We’ll go over expectations, boundaries, and tone during Session 0. This is your chance to share any lines, veils, or topics you’d like excluded. I’m always open to hearing concerns before, during, or after play. Tone & Content: Gore and violence will appear due to the nature of combat heavy gameplay, but it will always serve the story and never be gratuitous. Sexual content is off the table. It’s not a focus of my games, and I prefer to avoid areas I’m not equipped to handle well. Respectful Space: Everyone is welcome at the table, and everyone is expected to treat each other with dignity and respect. That includes respecting boundaries and each other’s fun.
