About the adventure
Darkness wakes, and stirs imagination... Join fellow adventurers on a trip to the dread domain, and travel across Barovia in your fight against the Devil Strahd. In this slightly homebrewed version of Curse of Strahd you will come face to face with the vampire lord himself, Strahd von Zarovich along with all sorts of creatures of the night. While your DM may not be the most deft at DnD rules, they are certainly a storyteller and a fan of all things drama and roleplay. 🟣WHAT TO EXPECT •Drama. Expect a bit of roleplay. Curse of Strahd is nothing if not a gothic drama. •2-3 hour sessions. I don't plan on running things for too long. •Discord calls & OwlBearRodeo: All of the sessions will be over discord calls, and all of the combat will be through OwlBearRodeo. •LGBTQ+ friendly: I, myself, am queer. And I intend on making this an incredibly safe space. •Session 0: Speaking of safe space! We will have a session 0 that goes over everyone's needs, wants, and don't wants. (Also help with character creation and rules if you're newer to DnD.) •Homebrew. Do not expect this to be a word for word running of Strahd. There will be some homebrew story and monsters here and there. •Fun: Don't forget, we're here to have fun and not take things too seriously.

Creating your character
START YOUR CHARACTER AT LEVEL 5. Try to create your character however, and wherever you'd like. I would like this to be done before Session 0, but if you need help we can cover it during that session. All books, species, and classes are allowed. If you off the wall ideas, please pass them by me first. STATS ARE ROLLED. Roll 4d6 drop the lowest.
