About the adventure
Deep in the heart of the Tal-Yool Jungle, the air hangs heavy with heat, the hum of unseen creatures, and the whisper of ancient curses. Hidden temples crumble beneath strangler vines. Forgotten relics glint in the shadows. Remnants of great civilizations lie buried in ruins. Every step off the beaten path could lead to treasure, terror, or both. This is a stand-alone one-shot adventure, part of a series of interconnected sessions, using material from the newly released Cursed Scroll 4 for the award-winning Shadowdark RPG. Each session is a unique expedition into a different corner of the jungle. You might uncover treasure in lost ruins, hunt (or be hunted by) strange beasts, or stumble into the schemes of powers best left undisturbed. You can join once, or bring your character to multiple sessions. Choose your next expedition: 1. At the fiery base of mighty Chanichu, greedy, savage crocodile-birds called skandrill make their home. What lost treasures might they have? 2. A strange buzzing rises in the ears of travelers near the mist-shrouded swamp, and feverish dreams of gold and amber haunt their sleep.
