About the adventure
The Clockwork Queen is a narrative-driven D&D 5E one-shot focused on mystery, investigation, and meaningful choice. Set in the bustling city of Neverwinter, this adventure draws the party into the final legacy of a brilliant inventor whose creations blurred the line between genius and obsession. What begins as a seemingly simple opportunity soon reveals deeper questions about ambition, responsibility, and the cost of progress. This is not a dungeon crawl. Combat exists, but clever thinking, roleplay, and player decisions are far more important than raw strength. The story adapts to your choices, and multiple outcomes are possible depending on how you approach the mystery. 🧭 What to expect A story-first, immersive one-shot Investigation and social interaction at the core Light-to-moderate combat, resolved quickly and meaningfully Player choices that shape the ending A welcoming table for both new and experienced players 🧙♂️ Player experience This session is beginner-friendly and includes a brief rules overview at the start. You don’t need deep system knowledge—curiosity and creativity are more than enough. Roleplay is encouraged but never required. Whether you prefer speaking in character or describing your actions, you’ll feel at home. 🕯️ Table philosophy At this table, storytelling comes first. The goal is not to “win,” but to create a memorable shared story in a safe, respectful environment. Session Zero and safety tools are used to ensure player comfort throughout the game. ⚙️ Technical details System: D&D 5E Level: 3 Format: One-shot Platform: Roll20 + Discord Language: English

About me
I am not just a Game Master — I am a Lorekeeper. For me, tabletop roleplaying games are modern forms of ancient storytelling. Just like the storytellers of old, I guide players through worlds shaped by myth, consequence, and shared imagination. I have years of experience running narrative-focused, immersive RPG sessions across multiple systems, including Dungeons & Dragons (5e), Vampire: The Masquerade, Call of Cthulhu, and Fate. My games prioritize atmosphere, character depth, emotional stakes, and meaningful player choices over rigid mechanics. Whether you are exploring forgotten ruins, navigating political intrigue, or facing cosmic horror, my goal is always the same: to create a memorable story that belongs to the table, not just the rulebook. I run games that are welcoming to both new and experienced players. Sessions are carefully prepared, clearly communicated, and paced to keep everyone engaged. I value trust, respect, and collaborative storytelling above all else. If you are looking for a cinematic, story-driven RPG experience guided by a professional narrator — welcome to the guild.

Creating your character
Pre-generated characters will be provided for new players who want to jump straight into the adventure. Players who prefer to create their own characters are welcome — I’m happy to help during a brief Session 0 before the game. Players may also create AI-generated character portraits if they wish. Experienced players are welcome to bring their own characters.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
• The game will be played using Roll20 for maps and character sheets, and Discord for voice communication. • Players will need a working microphone, stable internet connection, and a Roll20 account (free). All necessary links and setup instructions will be shared before the session, and I’m happy to help new players get set up.
What Lorekeepers Guild brings to the table
I provide a story-driven D&D 5E experience where player choices matter and the world reacts meaningfully to their actions. My games focus on immersion, character agency, and narrative consistency, while still leaving the room for fun, creativity, and unexpected moments at the table. I aim to create a welcoming and beginner-friendly environment, especially for players new to D&D or online play. Clear explanations, gentle guidance, and patience are always part of my table. At the same time, experienced players will find space for roleplay depth, creative problem-solving, and thoughtful decision-making. In terms of style, I use ambient music and soundscapes to enhance atmosphere and pacing. I enjoy light character voices when appropriate, but clarity and comfort always come first — immersion should never get in the way of communication. Combat encounters are balanced and purposeful, favoring meaningful choices over excessive complexity. While tactics matter, combat serves the story rather than dominating it. Rules-wise, I primarily follow Rules as Written, especially to maintain fairness and clarity for new players. That said, I embrace the Rule of Cool when it enhances the narrative and everyone at the table is on board. My goal is not to “win” against the players, but to challenge them in ways that feel rewarding and earned. I provide a fully prepared Roll20 setup, including maps, tokens, handouts, and character sheets, along with Discord voice support. Pre-generated characters are available for quick starts, and players who wish to create their own characters are welcome — we'll align expectations during a short Session 0. Above all, I prioritize player comfort, respect, and collaboration. Safety tools are always in place, communication is encouraged, and feedback is welcome. My goal is for every player to leave the table feeling heard, engaged, and excited to play again.

How Lorekeepers Guild creates a safe table
🛡️ Safety Tools & Player Comfort Player comfort and safety are a top priority at my table. To ensure a respectful, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for everyone, I actively use the following safety tools: Session 0 Before the game, I offer a brief Session 0 to align expectations. During this session, we discuss the game’s tone, themes, boundaries, and any content players may want to avoid. Players are encouraged to share triggers, limits, or preferences either openly or privately. This allows me to tailor the adventure and ensure that everyone feels comfortable and respected from the start. X-Card The X-Card is available throughout the session as an immediate safety tool. If a player feels uncomfortable with any content, they can say “X”, type “X” in chat, or use a predefined signal. When the X-Card is triggered, the scene is stopped or redirected immediately without requiring any explanation. The focus is always on player comfort, not justification. Ongoing Communication Safety tools are not limited to a single moment. Players are welcome to speak up at any time during or after the session if something feels off. I regularly check in with the table and encourage open, respectful communication. No Judgment, No Pressure Using a safety tool is always valid and never questioned. There is no pressure to explain personal boundaries, and feedback is handled with care and discretion. By using these tools, my goal is to create a space where players can fully immerse themselves in the story, knowing their comfort and well-being are respected at all times.
