About the adventure
Carry the torch. Continue Hellfire’s legacy. Play with a pretty cool DM from back in the day. The Hellfire Club started as a haven for outsiders, free spirits, and dice-slingers. But founder Eddie Munson's final campaign was left unfinished... until now. Keep the flames of Hellfire burning in this adventure modified by a former D&D Community Manager and published author. There will be four distinct one-shots, ranging from 1st to 4th level, expanded to 3 hour sessions. Welcome to the Hellfire Club invites you to gather the gang – and choose how the story ends. This is very new player friendly, but also cool enough for experienced veterans. Your DM used to teach D&D professionally, and has been playing D&D since the 80's - so he remembers. Oh yes, he remembers.

About me
Hail and Well Met Gamers! Some call me... Jeremy Jordan. I am an old gamer, game designer, RPG enthusiast, and have always held the belief that a game should be fun. I have worked on a lot of projects over the years, mostly D&D related. I was a Delegate for Wizards of the Coast, in addition to one of their convention staff. I helped launch 4th and 5th edition D&D, and have been playing since 1st edition. Recently I helped design and launch The Land Roleplaying System, based off of the best selling Chaos Seeds novels by Dr. Aleron Kong. In 2022 I moved 1000 miles from my player base to Florida, and am looking to once again run games for anyone willing to share a story with me. I'm happy to run D&D 3.5/4/5 for any group, and am currently setting up campaign terms for The Land Roleplaying System. I have an established Roll20 account with decent macros- please contact me if you would like to set up a gaming session. I tend to be corny - and I'm more about having fun with players than beating someone up over a ruling - and I will do my best to ensure we all have a good time.

Creating your character
You will be given access to a D&D Beyond Campaign to make a 1st level character using only the 2024 Player's Handbook, or you can use a pre-made character if you are new to the game. Either way we have a large and supportive community to play with and help you build your character!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Upon joining, you will be given access to our D&D Beyond campaign, our Discord server, and a Roll20 Link. You will also need to download the Beyond20 plugin. We will go over how to set all of this up before we play. You will need a Free Account on Discord, D&D Beyond, and Roll20 before we begin.
What Jeremy Jordan brings to the table
The best thing I provide my players is a good time, as seen by my reviews and repeat playing. Past that I use music, sound boards, sillyness, and tactical combat to make sure everyone has a good time.
Homebrew rules
As this is such a low level game, we will be focused more on making it a smooth operation than the nitty-gritty of rules.

How Jeremy Jordan creates a safe table
I use several API's (program scripts) to speed up combat and make it easier to understand for newer players. I'm not very rules heavy if it slows down the game, but I will advise players that don't know how to play, or players that are unsure of what they should do if things slow down. As I have over 30 years of DM experience, I have a lot of improv techniques to keep things going, but I always advise players to look past their character sheet and imagine what they would do in that situation. As I run several campaigns, we have a very robust Discord community to help you learn and expand support as one of my gaming friends.
