About the adventure
After several years of development, Sanctum Studios is proud to announce the release of our flagship Full-Dive VRMMO, Elysium Online Wonder! In the world of Aelyria, you take the role of an explorer paving their way to the mythic realm of Elysium, the realm of the gods. Those who clear each of the massive realms that make up the 10 levels leading to Elysium will be rewarded with titles of prestige and recognized as a true hero within the exalted halls of Elysium. Battle it out with Calamity Beasts in multi-player raids as true tests of skill, and offer fantastic rewards. The Character Creation system allows you true flexibility with a skill system that lets your skills grow according to your playstyle, rather than a set progression path. The world of Aelyria is dotted with periodic events, unique scenarios, and World Bosses, giving players a variety of ways to play with content that feels new and refreshing with each new login. Developer's Note: We at Sanctum Studios are aware of the strange "glitches" found by many of the players within the world. Some players may have experienced graphical errors where they see a strange 'post-apocalypse' version of Aelyria when viewing the game world from certain locations. This error in the graphics will not affect your overall experience in EOW. However, we've also been made aware of the unscripted 'doorway' found in a dead-end path within the Burrow-Keep dungeon on Floor 1. Players have reported strange errors and a zone known as "The Silent King's Valley" beyond this doorway. Players are advised to avoid this glitch until this doorway is removed in our next scheduled patch update. =============== Now that I have your attention. Players will take on the role of gamers controlling an avatar in a full-dive MMO. Similar to such media as Sword Art Online, Shangri-la Frontier, and Bofuri. Will you play a gamer who loves to roleplay their avatar, a try-hard struggling to min-max their build, a filthy casual player, or a nerd who makes a spreadsheet for their characters' builds? Players will have the chance to explore a world split in two, and through a twist of fate, will become the only players of this MMO to be able to explore both of them. You'll unravel a greater mystery behind this hidden world, where it came from, and why it seems to be affecting other players in the real world, as well. Who is this 'Silent King'? About me
I first learned about TTRPGs some time after D&D 3.5e had come out, so I had a lot of catching up to do at the time. However, as soon as I was exposed to the possibilities, the dam was broken and I was hooked. I've been in and out of groups since then, but when the pandemic began, I had nothing but extra time to play tabletop games. I started homebrewing my own content, running my own games, and making my own maps. I'm not satisfied with playing tropes or going with what's easiest. As a fantasy fiction writer, I want to tell stories that are engaging, breathtaking, and continue to surprise you at every turn. I like to keep things cohesive, but always allow my players to make their own choices, and face the consequences that may or may not follow. The story we tell together should feel like the result of the choices you make together. That's the game I want to create for you. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to the style and length of the adventure you'd like to play. From intense one-shots to elaborate campaigns spanning 2 years. I can run official modules, or invite your group to the setting of my world, Inaelia.

Creating your character
Standard character creation rules apply. Players will start at level 5. You will have a budget of 500 zenit for starting equipment, and 3 Fabula points. Specifics will be discussed during Session 0.

Preparing for the session
Players will need a Forge account, as well as a Discord account. Both of which are free. Players will receive invite links to both servers upon signing up.

How RollPlayer1 creates a safe table
An X-card button will be available in the VTT for players to use anonymously. Once used, the game will stop and that player can message me directly so we may resolve the issue. This is an LGBTQ+-friendly game, and I have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech of any kind. Whether that be against gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, and/or creed. Nor will sexual assault be tolerated, whether simulated or as a joke. I want everyone who comes to my table to feel welcomed and safe. Communication is important, and you are always welcome to message me with any questions you may have or to bring up any concerns about the details of the campaign. If something makes you uncomfortable, please signal me right away and we will either retcon, skip, and/or avoid the issue.
