About the adventure
A homebrew Call of Cthulhu mystery story set in a small English town in 1934. A local man has been found dead in horrific circumstances, while disappearances and other strange happenings have been reported in the lead up to the autumn harvest festival. The local police have swiftly ruled the death as an accident, closing the case. Following a complaint to Scotland Yard, a small team of investigating consultants from London have been tasked to oversee a new investigation and discover what is going on in this picturesque English village with something sinister behind its twee charm. Players should expect a roleplay heavy game with mystery and investigation fuelled and aided by extensive world building.

Meet the Game Master
About me
A GM from London, England who loves worldbuilding and to take players on epic adventures. My style of GM-ing is to allow the players to shape the course of the story and most importantly ensure that everyone at the table is having fun, so expect a dash of comedy and great NPCs mixed in with an engaging adventure. Outside of TTRGPs I'm a software engineer, and a big fan of football ("soccer"), board games enthusiast and blogger.

Creating your character
I will provide pre-generated characters but you are free to bring your own characters to the game also.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You must have a microphone and ideally also a webcam. Games will be run on my Discord server for voice/video chat and with a Foundry VTT (link will be provided).
What Chris brings to the table
I will bring pre-prepared character sheets to the game and all materials required including maps, ambient music and handouts. My games are very plot driven and rely heavily on roleplaying and investigation.
Homebrew rules
I follow rules as written in the Call of Cthulhu: Keepers Rulebook but will bend or adapt the rules as necessary to the table, game context and specific situation.

How Chris creates a safe table
At my table there is an open door policy where players can step away if they wish for a time, and in long sessions a break will be held. Before starting the game I will provide a brief introduction of any themes (without giving spoilers) that may cause upset or discomfort, which will or are very likely to be featured.
