About the adventure
Out World Odysseys is essentially a long running sandbox game stitched together by official and third party modules and homebrew into a sweeping epic full of adventure! We will first be running The Sinister Secrets of Saltmarsh and from there depending on player choice will determine where the adventure goes next. The idea is to run one shot adventures that can be completed in a single session or two at the most and some longer adventures all of these will lead into the next adventure as I've weaved story threads and elements to weave into one another. So if you want to play in one of the one shots! You can! If you want to see this massive story from beginning to end you can! Very welcoming to new players and all sessions are designed with them in mind. The starting adventures in general take place in a very rich setting made for level 1 characters learning the ropes but are still a blast for players of all levels!

About me
I’m Chris! I’ve been playing all manner of table top games since middle school with friends and have had an endless love with them ever since! I’ve played tons of dnd and cyberpunk, and even card games like Magic The Gathering, and Yugioh! I was always the friend in my group to fully download every scrap of knowledge I could about a hobby so I naturally ended up becoming the forever dm something I remained for the 7 years our group has played! I’m also a published author and use my skills as a writer to craft worlds and stories I think my players will love while making sure to weave in their choices and backstories into a wonderful long standing adventure! While I love to thrill and delight with the world and characters ultimately my number one concern is making sure everyone has a good time and feels like their time was well spent and that each of them got something important to do!

Creating your character
Players can make their characters through dnd beyond, roll20 or any other character creation tool and I will guide newer players through the process. Bottom line as long as I can see your character you can make them through whatever means you want.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord is a must for all players, and DND Beyond or other site for character creation. For new players just make a dnd beyond account and character creation will be taught and explained during session 0.
What Chris brings to the table
I do character voices! I use music and often visual aid as well! Rule of cool and what makes my players happy is my number one priority!

How Chris creates a safe table
Look frankly while I am the GM I am also there to be a friend. I encourage thoughtful and open communication between me and all my players and will make sure every aspect of the game is set to a fun and amazing standard. I always want to hear what my players are feeling and what they like and dislike about each adventure.
