About the adventure

A High flying swashbuckling adventure campaign set in my home brew Spelljammer setting. The players will begin as refugees fleeing a war torn world across the astral seas to find safety only to be attacked by pirates intent on stealing something specific on the vessel that in the wrong hands will doom the astral seas forever. The plays will encounter everything from fearsome monsters and aberrations, cunning pirates and ruthless oligarchs, as well as infernal clowns and worshippers of the Frozen Sun.

What Alison McGlone brings to the table

I love roleplay, action oriented combat, and the rule of cool. That being said I do try to stick by the rules but will adjust for better storytelling. I will do some voices and provide art to help with immersion as well as a heavily detailed campaign world for the players to immerse themselves in.

Homebrew rules

I will use some 2024 rules adjustments like drinking potions as a bonus action and the bladesinger using their intelligence modifier when making weapon attacks. I also use a modified two weapon combat rule to take into account realistic/ historical fighting techniques, basically a character can have a regular weapon in their main hand and a light weapon in their off hand so the traditional rapier main gauche style can be used.
