About the adventure

You are about to embark upon a journey into the unknown, where uncanny folk with strange superstitions revere the Old Ways, and creatures of folklore lurk on the isolated fringes of civilization. Druskenvald is a realm that exists outside the lands of the mortal and material. Enveloped in a seemingly endless expanse of eldritch gloom, it exists in a paradoxical state of limbo between the warring furies of life and death. A Prophecy of Sacrifice - Can you stop The Crooked Queen from reincarnating the Horned King and ascending to Godhood? Can you save the lives of everyone living on Druskenvald? I can only hope.

About me

<-- Runs Custom Special Occasion One-Shots: Birthdays, Bachelor/Bachelorette, Holiday, Ect. 100% AI Free. Gamer, Dad, Forever DM, getting good at voices (according to my very generous players), love storytelling, and the tactical elements of the game! I love everything from serious and dark, to goofy munchkin nonsense! Oh, and there will probably be a higher than usual focus on food in my games. I'm a chef and can't help it. My goal is to deliver an experience you're happy to be a part of, let me know how I can make that happen. Rule #1 Be Kind - we're all here to have fun, playing a game, and telling stories together.

Character creation

Creating your character

We'll do this during session 0, and again a little later. Who were you before you died? Starting at level 1 with standard 5e species and classes. Who will you become? We'll have to find out!

Preparing for the session

Passage on the Ghostlight Express requires Roll20, Discord, and a will to embark on a terrible journey.

Safety

How Charlie Bastian creates a safe table

Well well well. This is a horror game, and I intended to make it horrifying. That said. I'm not in the business of real world pain. We'll discuss what needs to be behind veils, what needs to not exist at all. I have an open door policy, you can bring ANYTHING to me. I will treat it with the respect it deserves. I have a 0 tolerance policy for bullies of any kind. This game will be spooky, I want goose bumps, I want you on the edge of your seat. I don't want you traumatized.
