About the adventure

Beneath the sharp spires and weathered slate rooftops of Tarn Halwyr, the streets are alive with voices—dockhands and dreamers, thieves and tinkers, poets and sellswords—threading their way through fog and memory. Here, in the last great city of a fading empire, the future presses close, whispering promises and threats in equal measure. Tarn Remembers: The Empire of Lost Coastlines is a sweeping fantasy campaign set in a world where forgotten menaces stir, maps lie, and every choice ripples outward. You’ll begin as one of Tarn’s own—raised among crooked alleys, sunlit vineyards, or tangled guild feuds—and rise into a tale that spans city intrigue, haunted wilderness, and distant, broken shores. This is not a grim world, although it bears scars. It is a world of peril and poetry, grit and grace. The tone is rich and textured, the gameplay bold and dynamic—mixing heroic combat, layered character arcs, and emergent storytelling shaped by your decisions. System: Pathfinder 1E Tone: Heroic with grit, mythic without pretense Level Range: 1–15 Playstyle: Player-forward, narrative-deep, full of tactical action, evolving factions, and long-echoing consequences If you long for a campaign that balances steel and wonder—where ash-stained streets give way to lost coastlines and half-remembered legends—Tarn Remembers offers a world that’s waiting for its next heroes to step from shadow into story.

About me

My style blends rich, immersive storytelling with clean, intentional mechanics - balancing evocative roleplay and tactically satisfying combat. I gravitate toward myth-rich fantasy: worlds like my own Caelmourne Setting, where forgotten empires, moral ambiguity, and flickers of fragile hope wind through every shadowed alley and sunlit glade. But I also make space for the things that make the adventure multidimensional: the campfire confessions, the inside jokes, the odd tavern cat named something regrettable. I want the world to breathe alongside your characters as they grow and evolve. I want players who are creative, collaborative and have the same quiet reverence for the experience of sharing imagination. As the designer of Essentia, a modular, classless RPG system, I bring a deep appreciation for player agency and creative problem-solving. I love watching players stretch the boundaries of a story, surprise themselves, and find their voice at the table. I’m collaborative, patient, and always rooting for your character to do something bold, clever, or heartbreakingly human. My goal is to build worlds where you feel both safe and significant; where the table becomes a shared stage for wonder, connection, and the beautiful chaos of a natural 20.

What zer0charisma brings to the table

I rarely do funny voices. I don’t need to. I’m here to make you feel something. To invite you into a world that breathes—dust on the wind, salt on the air, cities with scars and memories that cut deep. As a GM, I blend evocative storytelling with meaningful mechanics. I build layered, lived-in settings where the small details matter—where an alley has a name, a legend, and a reason for its broken lamp. In Tarn Remembers: The Empire of Lost Coastlines, I’m offering a setting with texture and weight, where adventure grows organically from character choices, relationships, and the tension between what’s remembered and what’s lost. My style emphasizes atmosphere, agency, and collaborative storytelling. Combat, when it comes, is sharp and purposeful. I don’t throw you into a fight just to burn hit points—I want every skirmish, every duel in the alleys or stand on a cliffside, to mean something. I want the moment after the swords are sheathed to echo just as loud. The world of Caelmourne is built to reward curiosity. I draw inspiration from classic fantasy and modern storytelling alike: the mystery of old maps, the weight of forgotten empires, the grit of flawed heroes, and the flicker of hope in even the most shadowed places. I like quiet moments just as much as I like chaos—meals shared at a creaking table, whispered secrets behind tavern doors, the eerie hush of a spire that shouldn't be standing. What you can expect at my table: A deep, coherent world where your character’s backstory genuinely matters. Descriptive, dramatic scenes that feel like the good parts of your favorite novel or movie. Thoughtful pacing that makes room for both grit and grandeur. Player agency at the forefront—your choices shape the path. No pressure to “perform,” but always space to shine. A table culture that’s respectful, inclusive, and eager to build something great together. You won’t need to solve elaborate puzzles or memorize a dozen accents. Just bring a character you’re excited to grow, and a willingness to step into the fog-shrouded streets of Tarn—where myths still whisper, gods walk in mortal skin, and the tide is starting to turn. This game is for players who love exploration, consequence, and nuance. Who enjoy their fantasy with a little melancholy, a little mischief, and a lot of momentum. Whether you’re a seasoned roleplayer or newer to the hobby, you’ll find a place here to tell a story worth remembering.

Safety

How zer0charisma creates a safe table

I believe roleplaying games are sacred in the best way—a shared space for imagination, connection, and catharsis. Because of that, I take the safety and well-being of everyone at my table seriously. I want this game to feel like something we build together: a place where everyone feels heard, respected, and excited to show up each session. We’ll begin with a Session Zero, where we’ll talk about tone, character goals, and safety tools. These aren’t just checkboxes to me; they’re ways of making sure everyone is playing the game they want to play. I also encourage the use of the Open Door policy at all times. If you need to step away—for any reason—you’re supported. We’ll take breaks and check in after tough or intense scenes. I’m a firm believer that "bleed"—when character emotions leak into player emotions—can be powerful, but it should never catch you off guard. We'll name and navigate those moments, always with care. As for content: while this world is gritty and mysterious, it is never grimdark or gratuitous. We will never include explicit adult content or sexual violence. Anything consensual of a sensitive or intimate nature that does come up will always be fade to black, with tone and taste guiding the narrative. Period. This is also a space where queer, trans, neurodiverse, and other marginalized players are 100% welcome. If you’ve ever felt "othered" at a table, I want this one to be a corrective experience. Consequently, if you are upset by or antagonistic to any of those groups, this just isn't the table for you. Ultimately, I aim to foster a game where everyone feels safe enough to be brave. To play big. To take emotional risks. To try something new. I want you to not just be yourself at the table—but to be your best self. Let’s build a story together that honors your voice, respects your boundaries, and leaves us all a little better than we were when we sat down.
