About the adventure
A game in Valor: The Heroic Roleplaying System for players of all experience levels inspired by the cult classic anime Re:Creators. A diverse group of characters from wildly different genres of anime, manga, LN's and games meet interlopers from outside their canon and soon mysteriously find themselves in the middle of contemporary San Diego, in the middle of Fanime 202X. No less than three mysterious conspiracies all concerned with these out-of-context problems converge on them, seeing to recruit or end them, and that's not even counting the sight of people reading, watching, playing or cosplaying as their stories. If they are to ever return home - or survive the attentions of the Otherworldly Knights, the Future Shockers, or the Bureau of Fiction, these misfit protagonists and side characters must show their Creators the strength of their Valor!

Creating your character
I will assist players in making appropriate - and wildly different! - characters from a variety of genres that still mesh as a team. We will be using the base Valor rules, as well as the optional Tools of the Trade supplement.

How Talia E. B. creates a safe table
We will go over genre expectations and lines/veils/permitted/encouraged content before play, as well as doing checkins, digital x-carding and taking breaks if needed and post-game debriefing. It is unclear what we will address, but given the realities of the anime and games industries, frank discussion of tone-appropriate sexism, racism, classism, agism, homophobia and transphobia seems likely. So does anime violence, and clashing levels of detail with that violence.
