About the adventure

Under raging storm clouds, a lone figure stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stares down a sheer cliff at the village below. A cold, bitter wind spins dead leaves about him, billowing his cape in the darkness. Lightning splits the clouds overhead, casting stark white light across him. Strahd turns to the sky, revealing the angular muscles of his face and hands. He has a look of power—and of madness. His once handsome face is contorted by a tragedy darker than the night itself. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind’s howling increases as Strahd turns his gaze back to the village. Far below, yet not beyond his ken, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd’s face forms a twisted smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knew why they had come—all according to his plan. He, the master of Ravenloft, will attend to them. Another lightning flash rips through the darkness, its thunder echoing through the castle’s towers. But Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind—or perhaps a lone wolf—fills the midnight air. The master of Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited.

How Keilan creates a safe table
Aftercare—I will be available for about 30 minutes after the session to update anything that needs changing based on the player's needs. I will also use this time to check in and ensure that all is well with how things are running. Breaks - I will check with the party before, during, and after heavy roleplay and combat encounters to see if a break is needed for my players. I will use this with myself to determine if I need to take a break. Lines and Veils - There are lines one cannot cross, and I understand that. If a player wants nothing to do with a subject, they do not have to do anything with it. We can turn certain situations into roleplay in a private thread in Discord to allow for other characters to deal with it while making sure the other player's wishes are respected. Open Door - You can leave at any time, just would like to be informed you are leaving (no reason needed) Session 0 - I will conduct a session 0 to ensure I have all subjects covered in the best interests of my players. X, N, and O Cards - I will use these to make sure of certain topics that are off limits to my players
