About the adventure
You and your friends awake in a dungeon. You remember all of you had been invited to a feast at a nearby Lord's castle along with hundreds of others. Once the doors to the castle closed it became apparent by the screaming that you and the other humans were the main course! You don't remember much except you and the rest of the party made it downstairs, and you wake up in a dungeon each with a favorite weapon. Now you and the others must find the final Vampire, and destroy them to leave the dungeon and the castle. You are outnumbered and outmatched. You will die often. But you will also come back, with some of what you had gained on your way and a few more memories. This is intended to be a fun fast paced and funny dungeon crawl, that I will procedurally generate as we play There will be some roleplay involved, but also one of the combat heaviest games I run. There will be some plot, enough to have this be a miniseries. There are also lingering question that you will face besides finding and destroying the Vampire Lord: Who armed you when you awoke in the dungeon? Why were you and the others picked out for destruction? Why does the only food seem to be roast chicken on the floor and bulbs of garlic and slices of tiramisu?

About me
I've been running and playing games for 35+ years, and prefer cinematic and fun stories versus full on combat focus and playing RAW. I started with games like Toon and Teenage Mutant turtle and Tunnels & Trolls, moved to GURPS, Earthdawn, Legend of the Five Rings, and 7th Sea in the 90's and up to mid 00's, and then Savage Worlds, FATE, and Indie RPGS after that. You will see cats in the background if I have my camera on! They have only knocked my laptop to the ground in a single game. Can you make my cat do it again? I like to make sure everyone gets a chance for the spotlight and to focus on the things they want their character engaged in. the games I run are co-op. not PVP as the fun you are having should not take away from the enjoyment of others. I see my job both as to weave the world around the characters actions which drive where the action goes. I love a good long campaign with a lot of character progression, but I also enjoy zany one shots where what happens after this one story does not matter. I really like having the NPCs having their own lives and personalities, and breathing life into them. a specialty of mine is often creating deep and distinct NPC's in a moments notice. I am more of a lenient GM than a strict one, and for the games that it fit's the scenario and world, making sure everyone has a pun-derful time. I don't like PVP combat, and will make that expectation known upfront. I am very new player friendly.

Creating your character
This will be done at the start of the first session you play, but can be done in just a few minutes. I prefer not pre-made as its good to have at least a semi-diverse party or versatile character if solo. We will be using a modified version of the black hack and any edition can at least help with the basics. We will add fast leveling, weapon/item based damage/intensity, and mob attack rules, quick item regen and leveling tables.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need discord, and reading the free quickstart before hand will give a great overhead view of the rules. They will be reviewed during play (much like a tutorial in the first game) but this helps get the game running. Make sure to have at least a microphone and speakers, and optionally a webcam helps.
What Emily brings to the table
I will orchestrate the havoc, er run the various monsters, plot, what items you get, and the dungeon itself, which is definitely not alive.
Homebrew rules
Your starting ability may not be in the original rulebook, and there is a sub system for leveling up your weapons. That when you die you will come back in a couple turns, a little weaker than when you died but stronger than the last time you resurrected. Unless you die immediately, that would suck if it happened often. Also all resistances/saves will be handled like BLACK HACK, roll under the appropriate attribute.
