About the adventure
The Divine War shattered the world, and cast your people out to the distant swamps and deserts. The titans who created you may be imprisoned, but they cannot die, and you must pick up the mantle of your ancestors who fought in the war and restore them to power. Will you be able to cast down the false gods and bring balance back to the world? This campaign is a PF2E adaptation of the Scarred Lands campaign setting originally written for D&D 3.5. However, PCs will play heroes from among the "titanspawn", the many different ancestries who have been cast out by the "divine races." Your job will be to find a way to bring a new age of titans by destroying the fragile order the gods have recently established and rescuing at least one of the titans from imprisonment. Players will have many ways to bring about these goals, from pursuing leads in hidden texts to mustering an army and bringing war on their patron's behalf!

About me
Hi, I'm Daniel(they/them) and I've been playing and running RPGs ever since I found the Basic D&D set at 8 years old. Since then, I've run campaigns in every edition of D&D, Pathfinder 1e and 2e, Shadowrun, World of Darkness, FATE, and GURPS. I especially enjoy open-ended scenarios that allow players to find new and creative solutions to problems. I am a former math teacher and ran an after-school D&D club. I have spent a lot of time teaching new players and am excited to introduce you to the games I love, whether that means helping you find the most interesting ways to build a character, or doing the math so you don't have to! In particular, I am used to running games for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent players, and strive to make my games accessible to everyone.

Creating your character
We will build characters together during our session 0 using standard PF2E remastered rules. Characters will be from many unusual ancestries such as orcs, ratfolk, vishkanya, or fleshwarps, representing the varied titanspawn peoples that have been outcast by the "Divine" ancestries - no humans here! Similarly, as warriors against the false gods, no divine spellcasting will be available to PCs since that represents worship of the campaign's antagonists. Don't worry though, PF2E is great at making a party survivable without a divine healer.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need to join my Discord server (linked when you join the game here) since that is where all game communication will take place. I use the Foundry VTT, which you can access from most browsers, no download required.
What Daniel brings to the table
We will use Foundry VTT with extensive Pathfinder integration and automation. Gameplay is generally Rules as Written, so players know what to expect each other and their enemies to be able to do. Combat is always a choice - sometimes it's the easiest choice, but not always! I have an extensive ambient sound and music library to create an immersive roleplaying experience. I create and curate custom maps for beautiful and tactical combat experiences.
Homebrew rules
If players want to raise armies and go to war, the optional rules from Kingmaker and Battlecry will be used.

How Daniel creates a safe table
Lines and Veils will be linked to you after you join the campaign, and summarized during Session Zero. I run an inclusive table, but have no tolerance for players who make others uncomfortable in the game. We may explore deep themes and feelings, but we're doing so together in a safe way.
