About the adventure
Step right up and enter The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, a whimsical Dungeons & Dragons adventure where wonder and danger dance hand in hand beneath the big top. The Witchlight Carnival arrives but once every eight years, bringing laughter, mystery, and magic—but something beneath the glittering lights has gone terribly wrong. Players will journey from the carnival’s twinkling tents into the Feywild’s enchanting domain of Prismeer, where lost memories, mischievous faeries, and twisted bargains await. Whether you crave heartwarming whimsy or eerie fey intrigue, this campaign promises an unforgettable story where every smile hides a secret—and every choice has a price. This game is run in a beginner-friendly manner, but is by no means restricted to beginners. I like to tailor the adventure to fit the party, and may even rewrite parts of the adventure to deliver a more satisfying experience. Before starting, I will hold a free session 0 where everyone at the table can meet one another. This session will cover character creation, the tools needed to play, safety tools, and what everyone wants to get out of this game and hopes to get from it.

Characters will be created following the Dungeons and Dragons 5e rule system. We will meet in a session 0 to roll stats and discuss how characters end up in this story. There is no need to do any character prep before the session 0, but feel free to do as much as you like if you just can't wait.
