About the adventure
⛏️ In the depths of a mine, shadows dance with glee, 🐄 Six-legged cows, strange signs, what could they be? 💰 Gems that gleam like stars, a fortune untold, 🌟 A cryptic riddle in the dark, secrets yet to unfold. The village of Phandalin has a troubled history. Initially founded near a mine with a mystical forge. The knowledge of the mine was lost, the village abandoned. Now, with rumours flying of a company of dwarves looking to reclaim the lost mine, people are returning to the Phandalin site. Now there are six legged cows and other strange sights to behold. No experience necessary Your friendly neighbourhood Game Master will walk you through the process of playing, from creating your characters, to winning your first fight, and interacting with the locals. Previous players will attest to my ability to lead a great game where everyone is comfortable and having fun and learning how to play without any pressure. Whether you are an soft-spoken barbarian, a pyromantic wizard who loves the cold, or a bard with the voice of an daemon, there is always a place for you at the table.

About me
With a focus on teaching the game, I encourage all players to come to my table. Don't worry about previous experience, don't worry about what others are doing. Bring and play your own character the way that feels right for you. I generally play published modules so you know that you are getting a well balanced, consistent experience. No T.R.A.S.H.Y. players or behaviours T -> Transphobic R -> Racist A -> Ableist S -> Sexist H -> Homophobic Y -> Yeetable (poor choices not necessarily related to discrimination) LBGTQ+ Friendly, No Racism, No Misogyny, No Bullying.

What Lloyd Johnston (Geldhart) brings to the table
I will be providing D&D Material for players to use to create their characters, and a virtual table top with all the maps you need. As a DM, I believe in player choice, and therefore bring experience in both pre-planning and improvisation. Go off the beaten path, I'll be there with you.

How Lloyd Johnston (Geldhart) creates a safe table
The game involves potential scenes of violence and death similar to movies like Lord of the Rings. The module is designed specifically for newer players. Prior to beginning play, we will have a Session 0 discussion along with discussions of what players want and do not want to experience during game play. All players will have the ability to stop play at any time with Stop (X) and Fade to Black (N) cards without judgement, and may take breaks from the table as needed.
