About the adventure
This game is great for those looking to explore the feywild and the tricksy nature that only the fey can bring. Full of fantastical creatures and daring horrors alike, chill your spine and warm your heart with the large variety of NPCs this world has to offer! This campaign will take the story of The Wild Beyond the Witchlight and expand so much more upon it; even those who have played the base module will have a refreshing time in this mystical setting~ Expect to see backstory integration for each character, apt cause for adventure, and hilarious interactions only the feywild can bring. This campaign is great for both new players and veterans alike in a play-by-post style that is great for those that have a busy schedule, vocal shyness, or just an aptitude for writing and roleplay! This game will primarily run through a discord server; a discord account will be required in order to sit at this table. If you do not have one and would like assistance learning this app, don't be afraid to message for help!

About me
Hi there! I'm a long term Dungeon Master, Player, and Artist with a decade of experience in the Dungeon and Dragons setting and even longer drawing characters. My love of DnD came from a wonderful friend in college who taught me with patience, and I'd love to do the same for you! My tables are beginner and veteran friendly alike, and I strive to do my best to intertwine every character into my stories~ My aim is to make an inclusive, welcoming environment where everyone can have fun! While I specialize in fey and horror campaigns like Wild Beyond the Witchlight or Curse of Strahd, I'm more than happy to customize just about anything to give everyone a wonderful story that will take you from your mundane world and into the world of fantasy. Want a custom character? I can draw it! A scene that made your day in the campaign, I can make it come to life both in the game and as art outside of the session. I do my best to immerse each player in a rich diversity of personality, environments, and descriptions to create a sense of immersion that make it easy to put yourself into scene and battle alike. Hop along for a safe and memorable gaming experience, and I'll tell you the only limit holding you back is your imagination! (And perhaps a BBEG or two)

Creating your character
I prefer to have characters fleshed out before session; it creates an immediate understanding of who your character is and what they are capable of in their first session that can help keep the game running. I am happy to let races, classes, and backgrounds be decided from book materials and will work with each of you individually to flesh out a backstory. Glancing through the offered races and backgrounds through the WBtW book is encouraged; though you do not have to pick these options. Starting level for this campaign will be Level 1: Stats are to be decided one of two ways. Point By, or Rolling 4d6 and dropping the lowest number for each stat. This will be done via a dice bot in the discord to keep everything fair.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord is required for this campaign. Roll20 or DnDBeyond is encouraged to help keep track of your characters stats, details, etc. One or the other will have to be selected and shared to me, the DM.
What MysteryMusix brings to the table
I adapt my games to what the characters desire; I'm a big advocator for the Rule of Cool as long as you can convince me that it is feasibly something your character can do! I specialize in both long-form and short-form roleplay when it comes to written games and am happy to adapt on a per-player or per-party basis to what is needed at the table. Expect text variations like bold, italics, and proper grammar to help differentiate between scene descriptions, NPC action, and NPC dialogue!
Homebrew rules
- Flanking is allowed - Potion usage is a bonus action - Nat 20's will result in double dice - Many monsters may not appear as portrayed; many are edited per module as I do homebrew some aspects in campaigns to fill gaps. Please keep this in mind during sessions.

Safety
How MysteryMusix creates a safe table
I run two primary methods of safety tools to help keep players comfortable; Character Consent Forms and Fade to Black A short survey will be sent to each player before session's start to gain insight into their acceptable topics and no-go zones in order to avoid surprise negative experiences. Each survey will be anonymous, and no-go zones will be expressed beforehand as a group to keep everyone knowledgeable where party boundaries lie. While this survey will go over most commonly problematic subjects, it is not all inclusive, and thus to our next tool. Fade to Black is a phrase that can be used at any time during a campaign for any pop up subjects that may cause discomfort for an individual. Example: A scene becomes too descriptive in terms of body horror. Requesting Fade to Black will immediately end the full description of such a topic and keep it to vague bullet points of what is happening in the scene without ample description.
