About the adventure
Have you ever wanted to be part of a mythological adventure? Slaying monsters, commanding armies against impossible odds, destroying cults, learning magic, being the champion of a god - or refusing to bow down to the fickle whims of a pantheon and rebelling against your destiny, battling demigods, fellow champions and being a legend of your own? Then this game is for you. "Thrilias: The Lost God" takes place in the D&D 5E setting "Mythic Odysseys of Theros"; a setting that is heavily inspired the works of Homer. In this beginner level campaign you will take on the role of adventurers and heroes, who stumble upon a secret that not even the gods of the heavens remember properly: the name of a forgotten god. But you know what they say: Three may keep a secret if two of them are dead. What will you do once other gods begin to remember, sending monsters or even their own champions to hunt you down? Will you bury the secret, keep it all to yourself, or go on a quest to restore the Lost God back to their place in the heavens? If you are a fan of Greek Mythology - ranging all the way from classics such as "the Iliad" and "the Odyssey", to more modern works such as "Percy Jackson & the Olympians", "the Song of Achilles" or "Circe" and have always wanted to tell your own story in such settings, then you will greatly enjoy Thrilias and the world of Theros.

About me
Hello! Nice meeting you! I am a writer, translator, a storyteller and a budding content creator. I have been into tabletop games for three years and have been running games professionally for about the same time. I'm pretty experienced when it comes to World of Darkness games, especially Vampire: The Masquerade, Hunter: The Reckoning and Werewolf: The Apocalypse, having run multiple games in these splats. In terms of D&D, it has been always a passion that I followed through one-shots and friend games, but I decided it was finally time to delve into the community and start running longer games. I'm well-versed in the system, and I dabbled in different settings within the multiverse. As a GM I'm generally a rule of cool guy who does his best to stick by the book for the most part, but I'll never stifle your fun - especially if you are about to do something absolutely rad. I'm your characters' #1 fan when you are at the table. If you have any questions before signing up to any one of my games, I'm always active on the website and would be more than happy to answer them! I hope you can find a game that you can enjoy on my profile. Looking forward to meeting you!

Creating your character
When we have a group to play with, we will get together on Discord, where I will explain more in detail the premise of this campaign, what you might need to know, link any sources you'd like to read, share books, go over any rules if you are only starting out your first adventure, and help prepare you! We will go over character creation during Session 0 together so we don't end up making an all Bard campaign without talking to each other first. My goal is to help everyone at the table make unique characters that can stand out; both individually, and as a cast of characters. Once you feel you are confident, we will start brainstorming together about character ideas, and how we could bring our adventurers together. Roll20 is where we will be storing our character arts, sheets, maps, and tokens.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
🎤 A decent microphone is a must. 🔊A Discord account (free to register). 🎲 Roll20 account (for the table and dice rolls. Also free to register). 🎓 Beginners are welcome; I will explain the rules and the system as we play, should need be. 📷 Cameras are optional, but highly encouraged, as I believe seeing each other enhances our roleplay.

How Onur Temel creates a safe table
We will hold a Session 0 to go over all the content warnings, as well as all of the possible Lines and Veils with a detailed Consent Form you can fill, in order to create a safe, welcoming table. Everything is changeable and negotiable; they will all be discussed and taken out of the game accordingly if any one of those stated below make you feel uncomfortable. I will send a consent form where you can write down any potential topics that you may be uncomfortable with. We will also use Session 0 to establish the boundaries between the players, as well as the relationship of their characters and of course, decide on what kind of a story we want to tell in Theros. Before the start and after the end of every session we'll spend about 15 minutes at least to chat, talk about any potential issues, to go over what happened in the story to identify Bleed and to help you cope with it and leave it behind at the table!
