About the adventure
We are going to learn to play D&D and have fun doing it. We will talk about the basics of how to play then take on the beginning adventure in Dragons of Stormwreck Isle. Players will use pre-generated characters for this adventure to get them into the game with little preparation time. We can sit in a class and learn how to play but the best way to learn is simply to play.

About me
Dungeons and Dragons is a favorite game of mine and I have been a GM for the last few years which has been instrumental in building my love for this game. I enjoy helping new players learn the ins and outs, but I also like to GM for experienced players as well. I feel the online community is one of the most welcoming and encouraging group of players around. I also enjoy in person games. Currently, I GM 2 long term in-person campaigns and various in-person one shots. I want to branch out into online gaming to learn more about my craft and reach a broader audience. All of my games are LGBTQ+ friendly, and I welcome all people that want to join my adventures. PS yes, I'm that old...

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Laptop or PC with a microphone and an internet connection and an account with dndbeyond.com. Webcam is not required. Besides, you don't want to look at me.
What Bob brings to the table
I will bring maps and tokens, imagination, story information, role playing opportunities and the love of the game. I'm not a voice actor so that is going to be low on the totem pole.

How Bob creates a safe table
X, N & O's will be messaged privately to me and held in confidence. No one should fear reprisals from other players. We will use role playing for about 60% of the game and combat will be about 40%. When I talk about Role Play, I'm talking about playing the game as your character would live their lives. We'll talk more about this in the session.
