About the adventure

Decomposition, putrefaction, rot, deterioration, depravity… Corruption. Things go bad from time to time. It’s a natural process that allows for progress and rebirth. But recently, things have gone bad with an unnatural frequency. Fruits and vegetables have been rotting on the vine. The fly population is out of control. The tempers of the kindest folk have become short. Arguments can be heard in the streets. What is causing this degradation? You can’t be the only person to be asking this question. You must bring together a group of like-minded people to identify the source and end it before it can cause further destruction. This campaign is for 1st-level characters who may reach 10th-level by the end. The format is 10 main quests, with the possibility of side quests and notice board opportunities as well.

About me

Hello everybody! I’m Tenpas (my Mom calls me Chris). I began playing D&D in the 1980s and played through middle and high school. However, my party moved away, and I was left with a bunch of books and miniatures. It’s a sad story, but there’s a happy ending. Fast-forward to 2022. I’m listening to another LitRPG audiobook, and my mind wanders back to the glorious days of hosting a party through one dark labyrinth after another. I plug Dungeons and Dragons into a search engine and POW, Start Playing Games is at the top of the list. The rest is history. I’ve played in several fantastic campaigns and one-shots since that day and am ready to jump back into running the show.

Character creation

Creating your character

Please come to the first game with a 1st-level character already created. I'm happy to help with this process before the game if you need assistance. Character creation will be: Point Buy Encumbrance minus coins XP for leveling No homebrew (Except mine) Having your character created early will let me take a look and make suggestions, if you want any. Also, please talk to the other party members on Discord to set up party roles.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I'll be sending you links to the Dungeons & Dragons Beyond campaign as well as a link to Discord. You'll need an account for each as well as a working microphone.

What Tenpas brings to the table

I'm providing materials for character building as well as my sparkling personality. I'll probably attempt some voices as we play, but I am far from being a voice actor. If you find the voices distracting from the fun of the game, please let me know.
