About the adventure

The Clockwork City is a monument to ambition, cruelty, and progress at any cost. In this vast steampunk metropolis, status and wealth are the only things that matter. Power is fought over by rival guilds and entrenched noble families, each pulling levers behind the scenes while the city’s gears grind endlessly onward. Airships crowd the skies, steamcars thunder through iron streets, and firearms and explosives ensure that disputes are rarely settled peacefully. In this campaign you will embark on many adventures, primarily solving mysteries throughout the clockwork city that require the hands of special detectives fit to handle or atleast brave enough to investigate what others have not. Backed by a special benefactor, you may investigate murders which lead to the discovery of a serial killer, disasters being covered up by the elite, corrupt cops and officials, vampires with their lairs within the city itself, deviant succubi preying on the weak and much more! -Mystery -Political Intrigue -2014/2024 hybrid ruleset with homebrew changes. -Player-Driven Narratives -Homebrew world, setting, monsters and items.

About me

Ever since I can remember I have been obsessed with my own imagination and the imagination of others. Imagination is a place where you can take a break from everything for a bit and pretend to be somewhere, someone, something else. I was always creating new worlds or expanding ones I had already created in my head. Soon the closet was stockpiled with cheap note book paper adorned with my doodles, drawings, maps and ideas. Now as an adult, I continue that trend.. just a bit less messy. About three years ago I finally gave DnD a try and immediately started as a DM, building a new and expansive homebrew world with my players as we all learned along the way. Now that world is a 500+ page PDF with still more to go. My obsession with world building clearly knows no bounds and I would love to share either my world or a world created by another (As I said, I also love to explore the imaginations of other people!) with a as many people as I can. <3

Character creation

Creating your character

You can either wait for session 0 to make your character or get started before hand by sending me a rough draft idea of what you want to play and we can work together to make your vision fit my world.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Make sure you have discord ready prior to session 0. Ensure you have a decent microphone and stable internet connection.

What DM Erin brings to the table

I provide my players with the following. • Character voices • VTT and Character Builder • Homemade maps • Ambience and Music • Scenery Expectation from DM. • A player oriented game where choices matter and the game reflects your decision making within the boundaries of the rules. • Commitment. I have been DMing for three years and I have only ever missed two sessions for reasons being of emergency. DnD is my favorite hobby and I look forward to playing every session. • A fun game where sometimes the rules can be bent to make room for a cool moment.

Safety

How DM Erin creates a safe table

We will have a session 0, ten minute breaks at the halfway point during session and I will ask where my players draw the line when it comes to content they would like to not see in my games.
