It is my pleasure to help people tell their stories in a fun and fantastical way. 🎲 I have been rolling dice and telling stories with my friends, family, and local gaming club for over a decade now. My love of fantasy began with Brian Jacques' Redwall series and other fantasy novels, then moved on to JRPGs like the Final Fantasy series, and now I get to tell my own fantasy stories for a living! 🛠️ I enjoy constantly experimenting with storytelling, game design, world-building, voice impressions and digital tools to create iteratively immersive and fun experiences for my players.

Creating your character
Characters will be created in a campaign on D&D Beyond and then ported to Foundry VTT. The party will start at level 5 with point buy and regular starting equipment, plus 500 gold and a common and uncommon magic item. We will use Fixed HP and milestone levelling. We will be using the 2024 Rules. To keep things simple, try keeping to the official 2024 published character options. Other sources will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but you're welcome to run it by me.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
🎮 If you don't already, you will need free Discord, D&D Beyond and Sqyre.app accounts. Nothing needs to be purchased. 🎙️ A good mic and headset are recommended for voice communication on Discord. 🎲 A browser plugin called Beyond20 can be used to send your D&D Beyond rolls to Foundry. 🔉 You will receive a link to the Discord Server beforehand, where you can find the rest of the setup information. 🧑 Please send me any pictures of your character ahead of time so that tokens can be created. ✍️ A half-page character backstory would be nice, but is not mandatory.

In the FREE Session Zero, we will: - Go over some content disclaimers - Go over the safety tools used - Go over some of the major gameplay and introductory lore beats - Go over character creation rules and assistance if needed - Get familiarised with my instance of Foundry VTT - A practice combat encounter to test your character I am open to receiving lines, veils and cards digitally to my DMs before the game and at any point, and publicly at session zero if you are comfortable with that. I will accept feedback after sessions, and you can either let the group know publicly or DM me privately afterwards.
