About the adventure
In the shadow of Mount Hotenow's lingering scars, Neverwinter—the City of Skilled Hands—stands as a powder keg of ambition and unrest. Lord Protector Dagult Neverember, the iron-fisted ruler who rebuilt the city from ruin, has succumbed to a sudden and suspicious illness. Riots erupt across the docks and noble enclaves as his cunning widow, Eregia Neverember, seizes the ancient Alagondar throne amid whispers of foul play. Factions clash in the streets, shadows stir in the sewers, and omens darken the horizon. Will you rise as saviors, rebels, or opportunists to unravel the gathering storm? You stand amid the throng at Neverember's grand funeral pyre in Protector's Enclave, the air thick with incense and suspicion. Torchlight flickers on faces twisted by grief—or glee—as Eregia's voice booms: "The throne calls for true protectors!" Suddenly, Nashers hurl bottles; shadowy figures swarm from the sewers; a noble slips you a bloodied note: "Something killed him. Save us—or seize it." Will you pledge to the new queen, ignite rebellion with the Sons of Alagondar, or carve your own empire from the chaos? This levels 1–20 epic campaign (inspired by Pathfinder's Curse of the Crimson Throne, fully adapted for D&D 5e/2024) blends urban sandbox intrigue, faction warfare, wilderness perils, haunted delves, and world-shaking revelations. Creating your character
Your ability scores are generated using one of the following methods. • Standard set (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8). • Variant: Customizing Ability Scores (2024 PH). You can use non-optional rules found in the 2024 Player’s Handbook, the 2024 Basic Rules, and all the books listed below. You will need the following: - Fantasy Grounds Unity installed and operational. - Discord, installed and ready to use for voice. - Proper Quality Mic with headset. - High Speed Internet Connection. I do not live stream or record any sessions without prior player consent.

We will cover all safety issues and concerns in session 0. - Expect your actions to have consequences. Don't be stupid. Play smart. If I give you lots of hints that opening the box will unleash fiery death. Don't open the box and expect to live. - I'm a story teller, the rule of cool applies. If it's cool, cinematic and epic, screw the rules- I'll probably allow it. If this grates against your rules lawyer soul...we are not meant to play together.
