About the adventure
This game is for beginners learning to play. This is a Gothic horror game, that's surrounded by undead, vampires, and people who are cursed. The game will be taught, rules will be explained. And I will explain how to create a character on dnd beyond. Rules can be explained as the game progresses or at the beginning of the campaign.

About me
Hello! My name is Christian. I’m here to offer players the opportunity to play in worlds and stories of my own design! I have 25 years of experience and having been on both sides of the screen, I’ve taken a great deal of time to learn what it means to be both a good DM AND a good player! My games are a good mix of roleplay and combat with a focus on the narrative side of things. The story matters more to me than anything else and so my ideal players are ones that are interested in building a story alongside me! Players can also look forward to a dynamic world that moves as the players do and a fun time being challenged by puzzles and riddles in game! Part of my promise as a DM is that there is no tolerance for hate. My table is a safe space for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent players! It is very important to me that other players are in line with creating a safe game space. I also am beginner friendly and have no problems teaching the game! I believe that StartPlaying will allow me to showcase my talents as a DM, and also to gather a party of likeminded players who enjoy playing D&D and weaving a tale of fantasy together! Creating your character
Character creation will be part of session 0. In which the group will be able to discuss their team dynamic to help optimize playing for each of them.

Preparing for the session
I will have Roll20 used for the campaign. To allow interactive maps. I will have a discord available to use for voice channel. And I will also be running 2 versions of talespire for a more 3d model of map. Talespire is not required for obtaining as it does have a cost to for the item.
What Christian brings to the table
As a game master, I have always ran by the rule of cool. Rules as written as guidelines to abide by. I get into character, voices, accents, the works. I will be streaming my Webcam so the players can see. As, when I get into an NPC role, I not only voice act, but physically act out expressions.
Homebrew rules
Drinking potions as a bonus action is a roll. Drinking a potion as an action is max healing. Critical hits do max damage on the die plus a roll. (Shortsword 1d6 + str/dex. Crit shortsword 6 + 1d6 + str/dex) Death saves will be rolled by the DM to help intensify the game of not knowing
