About the adventure
War, war never changes. After nuclear fire decimated the old world, the fragments rose up from the ashes. For nearly a century, The New California Republic (NCR) grew into a bastion of society. Yet they stretched too far; greedily grasping for more and more. Then the Bull battled the Bear on the dam, twice. The NCR was left bloodied while the Legion was beaten back. Only one year passed before a remnant of the old world turned the NCR capital, Shady Sands, into a glowing crater. Now in 2285, two years have passed as the once great republic struggles to survive. About me
I literally grew up playing D&D and other TTRPGs. Starting at my brother's table at 6 years old and continuing to this day. In my 30+ years of being a GM, I have written numerous stories, played/ GM'd variety of systems, built entire games, authored game supplements, and played in some livestreamed games. My table is a welcoming and inclusive place where we all can get together and have fun playing some games. I'm comfortable running games with all sorts of people from a wide range of ages, experience levels, nationalities, and identities.

Preparing for the session
Before playing, you will need to: ✅ Meet with me to discuss your player preferences, my GM preferences, the campaign premise, and potential character ideas. ✅ Create your character (this will be done in my Discord server). I do not have a story until I have players; I only have a scenario. We make the story together and it may turn out different than even I expected. I'm a strong believer in player autonomy while rewarding creativity. I want everyone to get comfortable and have some fun playing games. How Tracy Goodwin creates a safe table
We will begin the campaign once we have at least 5 players signed up. We will start with a session zero where we will introduce ourselves and then talk about safety tools, player preferences, my GM style, the campaign setting, and discuss your character ideas as a group. We will finalize characters between session zero and session 1 so that any ideas developed during session zero can be incorporated into your characters. This will help to set a solid foundation for a long-term campaign. Lines & Veils are discussed at the table and recorded in a discord channel for everyone's convenience. We use digital X cards in Foundry to pause play if something is an issue and then we can figure out a way forward that everyone is comfortable with.
