About the adventure
"Choose federal law enforcement. Choose the military. Choose NASA or the CDC. Choose lying to your superiors. Choose to ruin your career. Choose one last Night at the Opera. Choose Delta Green." Convergence is a short arc for Delta Green RPG written by John Tynes. It is a perfect introduction to many of the game's traditional themes — illegal government conspiracies, cosmic horror, trust and deceit. It is designed for 3–5 players, is suitable for newbies with an easy-to-learn d100-based system based on Call of Cthulhu. Convergence generally takes between three and five sessions to complete. Pregenerated characters will be provided or can be rolled up at Session 0.

About me
43, Scot, he/him. I began running and playing RPGs in 1997. I've run hundreds of games online, in person and at cons. I put in a lot of prep for games in Foundry: character art, music, maps, short films. If you've played Coriolis "Last Flight of the Ghazali" or Delta Green "Last Things Last" and "Impossible Landscapes", you may have seen my community maps in use.

Creating your character
There will be a free Session 0 where we will check everyone has a character and an understanding of safety tools. I will give new players guidance as to the range of PC professions available and help them through creation. Experienced players can bring their own PCs with up to two experience packages. Pregenerated characters will also be available.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Mic will be needed, computer or tablet able to run Foundry VTT in a web interface.
What Richard brings to the table
My games are long on detective work with short, decisive combat that won't always be the best solution to any problem. There will be lots of time to devote to making sure all the players interact with the world and each other. I will change mannerisms for NPC with some character voices where easily intelligible for players. I have the full suite of Delta Green goodies for Foundry, with tokens, rollable tables, maps and funky dice. I've run this module eight or so times since it was released.
Homebrew rules
Initiative will be DEX+d6 to introduce some drama into combat. Crit to-hit rolls cause max damage. Skill advances will happen at start of each session after the first.

How Richard creates a safe table
Foundry (free account registration required) will be used for maps, character sheets and rolls. Discord will be used for voice and (if desired) video. There will be a short Session 0 to go over the pre-generated characters provided by the module author, ask questions about the system, and run through what players do/do not want from their space horror. As written, this module can be violent and gory. A mature outlook is encouraged, although making sure everyone has fun is the name of the game. As such, we will use the full suite of Foundry safety tools in a card deck. There is an open door policy and players can message me on Discord if they believe something problematic is coming up.
