About the adventure
Welcome to your new academic career at the Magaambya! Founded by Old-Mage Jatembe, the Magaambya is the oldest magical institution on Golarion. Enroll as the Magaambya's newest students and rise through its ranks to become the arch mages of the modern era. Befriend and grow with your fellow students and learn from some of the greatest arcane minds in the world. Battle ancient evils and channel the strength of thousands who have come before! Welcome Folks! This will be my second time running Strength of Thousands. SoT is a level 1-20 Adventure Path that sees players enrolling as the newest students of the Magaambya academy. Over the course of the game, players will advance their academic careers and grow from students, to teachers, to defenders of the Magaambya. For Lovers of Roleplay Strength of Thousands is a roleplay-heavy adventure path that puts strong emphasis on the PCs relationships with one another and their fellow academics. While there are fights and dungeons aplenty in SoT, significant portions of the game will focus on research, downtime, and interactions between characters. It's encouraged that you highly enjoy the RP-side of the game, as it will take center stage in many sessions. Campaign Duration I'm predicting that this adventure path in its entirety will take between 30-40 sessions to complete. Players must be able to commit to the game on a weekly basis for the duration of the campaign. Where on Golarion? SoT takes place across the Mwangi Expanse, but focuses on the Magaambya academy and the surrounding city of Nantambu. Character Creation *Players will begin the adventure at level 1. *Players will have the standard starting wealth for level 1: https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=2662&Redirected=1 *All official Common & Uncommon rulebook material (unless specified otherwise) is allowed. *Rare Ancestries, Feats, etc. must be ran by me first. About me
Just an enjoyer of pretty much anything fantasy related. Avid fan of anime, survival horror games and TTRPGs of all flavors. I got my start with TTRPGs back in high school and have been hooked ever since. My GMing style puts strong focus on both combat and roleplay. I put a strong focus on making my games a safe space where folks of all backgrounds can roleplay and enjoy themselves. (Banner done by sarahwidiart: https://vgen.co/sarahwidiart)
