About Cody McGraw
Just an enjoyer of pretty much anything fantasy related. Avid fan of anime, survival horror games and TTRPGs of all flavors. I got my start with TTRPGs back in high school and have been hooked ever since. My GMing style puts strong focus on both combat and roleplay. I put a strong focus on making my games a safe space where folks of all backgrounds can roleplay and enjoy themselves. (Banner done by sarahwidiart: https://vgen.co/sarahwidiart)

I became a GM because
My long-time GM back in high school decided to take a break from running. I tried my hand at it and found I loved it just as much as playing.
My favorite books are
The Dark Tower series, the Locked Tomb Series, the Starless Sea, and most recently Project Hail Mary.
When I'm not running games I'm...
playing video games, watching youtube videos, or reading.
How Cody McGraw runs games
I love the narrative role-play side and the crunchy tactical side of TTRPGs in equal amounts. I've always enjoyed running character-driven games where the PCs are the ones driving the story forward. I love watching my players' characters grow and leave their mark on the world. Combat-wise I love mapping out epic battles and planning enemy tactics. When running modules I enjoy putting my own little twists on things and seeing how my players handle challenges in ways the modules may not anticipate. From my past experience running Pathfinder 2E Adventure Paths, I can confidently say that my GMing pace takes groups an average of 5-6 sessions per AP issue to complete. (1.5 months for Standalone Adventures, 4-5 months for 3-Book APs, and 8-10 months for 6-Book APs.)

I deal with rules issues by...
doing a quick search regarding the rule in question. If I'm not able to find an answer within a minute of looking, I'll make a call in the moment and find the full answer post-session.
My games focus on...
both combat and roleplay. I'm a hack n' slasher at heart and like to run combat at a solid pace. I'll just as happily banter with my players in-character for the majority of a session however.
