About the adventure
Every Wintermas Eve, in a world choked by frost and famine, one strange miracle persists: gifts. Toys, sweets, and trinkets appear overnight in homes across the land—cheerful, perfect, and always tagged with the same haunting message: "From Santa." Most don't question the magic. But this year, you've been hired to. A shadowy, morally flexible toy corporation wants answers—and they’re paying well. Your mission? Infiltrate the legendary Santa’s Workshop, uncover the truth behind the Wintermas phenomenon, and if possible, shut it down. But legends don’t give up their secrets easily. Frostbitten forests, sugar-fueled sentries, and unsettlingly cheerful elves stand between you and the truth. The deeper you go, the more you'll wonder: is Santa a myth, a monster, or something far stranger? This is a dark holiday caper filled with strange magic, twisted cheer, and moral ambiguity. Perfect for players who like their eggnog spiked with conspiracy, their snowmen suspicious, and their holidays a little haunted. Break in. Uncover the truth. Try not to get wrapped up.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi there! I'm Joe aka Phoenix! I'm a seasoned GM with many years of experience running all kinds of different TTRPGs! I'm very supportive of my fellow LGBTQ+ community. I enjoy crafting unique character driven stories where your silly ideas shape the world around you.

Creating your character
Players should create a level 5 character before the session, but there will also be some time set aside at the beginning of the session for me to help and answer any questions. We will be using 2024 rules and please use either Standard array or point buy to allocate stats..
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have the following: - access to a webcam/mic - a dndbyond account (for building characters and accessing the campaign and VTT) - a discord account (for playing the game)
What Joe (Phoenix) brings to the table
I will provide all necessary links to play the game and all game material. Such as, the discord server, dndbeyond campaign, and VTT I mainly focus on roleplay and story telling with a bit of puzzles and some combat to keep things spicy. I am a very rules light kind of GM I use the rules more like guidelines and just want people to come together and have a good time playing some dnd!
Homebrew rules
- Drinking a potion can be either a bonus action or a full action. - On a critical hit in combat (Nat 20) you double the damage dice. One die is automatically the highest number on the die. Reroll 1's on the damage die - A Natural 20 on initiative gives you advantage on your first hit. A Natural 1 on initiative gives you disadvantage on your first hit. - When a dying character fails their third death saving throw, they can immediately take any single action Those are the Big Ones. A list of all these house rules and more that I use are listed in my discord server

How Joe (Phoenix) creates a safe table
Players will find a link to my lines and veils document in the discord, we will have a brief session 0 before the game starts to go over any questions or concerns players may have about the game and we will also go over character builds. I use the X, N, & O's during the game and payers who have their video on can choose to either make an X, N, or O with their arms or just type in the chat.
