About the adventure
The opportunity of a lifetime... You've been hired to be the cream of the crop, the best Night City has to offer. You'll protect, assist and support Jack Entropy's exploits, concerts and (bad) habits. Else, you'll be stranded in Europe without an ID. A death sentence. Cold chrome, cash, guns. Stateside, your arsenal could melt a small army. However, when in Rome... Europe plays different, so you have to sneak every advantage you can against dangerous foes who want to kill, maim or screw you. Entropy's entourage. Spend enough time touring with his crew that you learn their quirks, their bad habits. Develop relationships with each of the crew (Entropy included!) and uncover dark secrets that could shake the tour to its core... Eurostyle. Chill music, hot action, Brit streetscum, French goldenkids, rebels, cops, riots, parties, thieves and martyrs. Jack in here, smartboy, and see if you can cut it - Eurostyle. This game is ran using Cyberpunk RED as a base for its rules. However, the original adventure was written for Cyberpunk 2020. As such, the lore, story and setting are largely based on 2020.

About me
More often than not, I'll be obsessing over a specific style of play, which means I'm shifting through themes and mechanics constantly. Started out with Cyberpunk 2020, have run CPRED, VTM V5, CY_BORG, Mork Borg, F.I.S.T., Night's Black Agents, ECOPUNK 2044, Silt Verses RPG. In general, I prefer indie titles with a focus on roleplay. I believe that the only way to find out things about yourself is through imagining characters. There's a little bit of ourselves in those characters and that agency helps us approach the darkest parts of our soul from a safe distance. I love the way sci-fi fuses with real life, how believable the tech, life and injustices of the Cyberpunk world are. I picked up GMing because I love telling stories and writing from my experiences. My Universe, my World is one of continuity, each player that passes through my table can leave their mark on the City, be it through urban legends or nuclear detonations or high-priced assassinations. My favorite part of GM-ing is worldbuilding. Expect decrepit descriptions of desolate dumps, vivid visual graphics, suave sounds (music, ambience and everything in-between). I love to stimulate all the senses and tell a story through all the mediums. That means more gunshots in the combat zones and more Air Vehicles in the executive areas.
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Players will draft a character using the Complete Package rules of Cyberpunk RED, with a few modifications so their abilities are boosted right off the bat. Players start with Role Ability level 6 instead of 4. They have 75 points to spend across the STATs (the level for a Minor Hero). For SKILLs, they have a total of 115 points to spread across, with any SKILL being at a maximum of 8 instead of the usual 6. For equipment, players have 5000 eurodollars to spend across Weapons, Armor, Gear & Fashion. Important Note: Since we are homebrewing the CYBERWARE system from the ground up, players should not spend any money on purchasing CYBERWARE at this time. Players should send their Character Sheet PDFs (draft and final) to the Storyteller for feedback. They can also contact the Storyteller on Discord for any inquiries regarding character creation. Every time a new character is introduced, players, together with the Storyteller, will decide upon relationships that the character has with the other PCs.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will have to talk to the GM on a preemptive interview on Discord in which they will discuss expectations, experience level, resources needed etc. for both parties to familiarize themselves before the game. You can contact me on Discord. You can message me from the Discord server (https://discord.gg/KjZG4ebuAN) or on my handle, aj_gman
What G-man brings to the table
Discord will be used for a majority of the game, including for dice rolls, voice chat, text chat (posting of images & information), as well as ambience/music using a Discord bot. Everything in our game is based deeply on the intentions of the player characters. For example, both combat and social conflict require the players to first pick a goal/objective for the altercation. This gives me, as the Storyteller, a much clearer understanding of what the players want as a constant checkup, but also allows me to see if the NPCs notice and react to these goals accordingly. Combat is quick and deadly, but it is rarely unavoidable. Sessions can end without any physical tussle - so if that's something you want, this game might not be for you! Or, pump your Cyber-juice to the max and go 'psycho! But even that has consequences... Expect constant nagging about your character's psyche through the use of cutaway scenes like the black-box technique (where an important person, like a lover for example, appears in a flashback asking the character why they're doing a certain thing), as well as debates whether or not certain actions would mentally affect the character. As a storyteller, I enjoy seeing character development based on these talks and debates. Owlbear Rodeo will be a useful aid, used mostly for exploration & combat. Most combat encounters will require a battle map, so either I will have one ready or I will draw one up on the spot! I prefer hexagon tiles because they look cute! The VTT will also host the images & ambience, so a core part of the experience is there.
Homebrew rules
For this campaign, the CYBERWARE system of Cyberpunk RED has been restructured from the ground up to give players more freedom in what each piece of CYBERWARE they have can do. This is the only big change currently implemented in the game. Full rules are available on the Discord Server, but, in summary: CYBERWARE has different qualities (Poor to Exotic), it can be hacked by Netrunners and individual implants are more vague in their descriptions, enabling players to argue for multiple use cases, not only the *obvious* one.

How G-man creates a safe table
After the end of every session, we will discuss as a group what we enjoyed and what we disliked about the session, including things such as music (too loud/distracting?), ambience (specific triggers that weren't mentioned previously, like dogs barking), characters (if they were too pushy or not), but also our expectations for the future sessions. This is both a session for feedback/debriefing (from the GM to the players, from the players to the GM and for players by other players), as well as a short aftercare for any sort of bleed-through of emotional depth from the story into real life. Breaks will occur every hour and a half, usually at the midpoint of the session. However, the players can take a break at any point as long as they let the GM know! We will keep a Google Docs where players can anonymously add and keep track of everybody's triggers, lines & veils, linked to each group specifically for easy tracking. X, N & O cards will be sent via DM on Discord to the GM.
