Few know the truth, but all fear the same name: Halaster Blackcloak.. The Mad Mage. Long thought a myth or ghost story, Halaster’s shadow now grows across Waterdeep’s underbelly. Strange magical surges spark in the city above, doors open into places they shouldn’t exist, and deranged creatures wander the sewers muttering riddles that speak of “the Master’s great design.” Rumor claims Halaster is rebuilding something vast and terrible within the depths, something alive, hungry, and stitched from chaos itself. Your story begins the moment you approach the Yawning Portal’s infamous well. A barmaid murmurs nervously, “Another group went down yesterday. No sign of them yet.” Her voice quivers,not with fear, but with certainty. The dungeon is waking.

I'm new player friendly 🫶🏻 I don't bite...the monsters do 🧌 My first D&D game I ran was in a storage closet under the stairs in a church community centre (unfortunately no Hogwarts letters arrived for me!🦉) that group started 8 years ago and evolved into a group still running and fumbling dice consistently to this day. 🎲 I like to run a balanced game of combat, roleplay and puzzles.
