About the adventure
Welcome to Keep on the Borderlands ⚔️—a classic frontier adventure where civilization ends and chaos begins. This game is set in a rugged wilderness teeming with danger 🌲🦅—bandit camps, monster lairs, and ancient ruins lie just beyond the safety of the Keep’s stone walls 🏰. Whether you’re a fresh-faced adventurer or a seasoned player looking for old-school thrills, this campaign offers a gritty, exploration-driven experience with plenty of room for heroism, cunning, and survival 🎲🛡️. The tone is grounded and adventurous 🧭, with a focus on player choice and cooperative storytelling 📖. You’ll scout hostile terrain, negotiate with dubious factions 🤝, and uncover secrets buried in forgotten caves 🕳️. Combat is tactical but fast-paced ⚔️, and roleplay is encouraged—whether you’re a stoic mercenary, a curious scholar, or a reckless rogue with something to prove. Expect moral ambiguity, resource scarcity, and the thrill of carving your legend into the untamed Borderlands 🌄. This game is perfect for players who enjoy classic dungeon crawls 🐉, wilderness survival 🌨️, and the tension of venturing into the unknown. New players are welcome—a mix of the best rules from the 2014 and 2024 rulesets will be taught as we go 📚, and creativity is always rewarded 💡. If you like maps, mysteries, and meaningful consequences, you’ll feel right at home 🗺️. So sharpen your blade, pack your rations 🥖🪓, and trust no one beyond the gate. The Borderlands are calling... 🏞️

How GM AP creates a safe table
Every session can be a session 0. I use a session opener that encourages players to use/update their safety tool preferences on an ongoing basis. Also included is the ability of players to create private and/or public threads where they need only state their safety tool concerns and I will avoid it and do my best to steer the players away from said concern and handle any desired discussion of the topic to the best of my ability and seek feedback from the concerned where and when necessary before doing so.
