About the adventure
20 years ago, Las Vegas was an ecological waste land- between the climate disaster that sunbleached much of the U.S. that was and the nuke that detonated in nearby Night City. Now, thanks to a seemingly benevolent nonprofit and a boat load of spent eurodollars, Neo Vegas isn't much to write home about, but the beer is cold, the stakes are high, and a edgerunner mercenary can always find work. Will you work for the New Dawn nonprofit to help rebuild, help the little people, and build something out of the unforgiving west, or will you sign on with any of the dozen of corporations looking to tame this frontier and assert their brand of control over the budding city? Will you leave a legacy of negotiations, high tech sabotage, and stealth, or a bloody bullet casing trail of destruction that breaks the chains that threaten to bind the future of the city? Up to you, Gonk, but you live fast and die faster under the neon lights of this modern day Babylon, so you better get moving. This is a learn to play campaign for experienced hands and greenhorns alike, so all are welcome!

About me
I've been GM-ing role playing games as long as I've been playing them, going back all the way to ye olde 3.5e days when I was the first in my group to read the Dungeon Master's Guide. Two decades later and this forever DM is ready to share that experience with the world. I've earned my stripes in everything from White Wolf's Storyteller system to several editions and renditions of the DnD formula to the fast and dirty combat of the Shadowrun universe. Multiple campaigns have run to high levels under my stewardship, so you know when you book with me that I'm in it for the long haul. As a neurodivergent person living with a disability, I value the space for creativity and expression that roleplaying games allow for, and I want to give the chance to experience it to everyone. I pride myself on running an inclusive table, and I am a firm believer that neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and minority voices enrich the experience for everyone. My email and discord accounts are responsive and checked daily, and I'm always excited to plan character progression, work on background inclusion, or talk mechanics whether you're brand new to the system or an experienced hand. Proudly AI image free, and proud of SP.G, myself, and my community of patrons for donating over $1000 dollars to charities for the disenfranchised, for victims, and to provide better tomorrows for a diverse range of people!
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will be done in a 1 on 1 session with the GM, which will last long enough for players to create a character and learn the basics of it. If a player is familiar with the system this should be quick and easy, but if a player needs more help or explanations I have no problem teaching hand over hand or making multiple appointments to make sure your character is perfect for you. If players want to create a character early with or without my help they may, but we will move at the rate of the newest player, even if it means making characters in session 0.
There are actually only 4 players, one just is booking 2 seats. We have a solo, a tech, a fixer, and a netrunner currently.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Watch Cyberpunk Edgerunners on Netflix, read some Gibson, and join the discord server to start conversations with your team. Free accounts for Discord, Demiplane, and Roll 20 will be needed. A mic of sufficient quality is needed, camera is optional. No experience or purchase is necessary beyond the hardware necessary to play, I will supply all needed book access on Demiplane.
What Ross brings to the table
We will be using my Roll20, Demiplane, and Discord, so free accounts will be needed for both of those. I bring a variety of voices, a varied soundtrack and sound effects, and a narrative first approach to the game- Rule of Cool is in play.

How Ross creates a safe table
All players will receive and fill out a consent checklist. We will handle character creation, hopefully before session 1 during a scheduled time. Safety tools are in play- you're paying for a great experience, not to be hurt or feel unsafe.
