About the adventure

In the quiet, foggy town of Roots, the disappearance of high school junior Ava has shaken the community. As her friends, you find yourself looking for her. The local authorities are quick to dismiss it as a runaway case, but you know Ava better. You begin your own investigation, starting with the fragments of her life she left behind. Her cryptic journal entries and a collection of strange, handcrafted charms point towards a hidden life you never knew, one that seems inexplicably tied to the town’s forgotten history and the dark woods that press in on all sides. --- This game is for players who enjoy serious, narrative-driven experiences with a somber tone. If you like roleplay-heavy games, small-town mysteries and the satisfaction of piecing together a complex puzzle, this game is for you. The ideal player is someone who can get invested in these kinds of psychological, slow burn stories and add their own creativity and problem-solving skills to it.

About me

Hey everyone! I'm Nero, a 28-year-old GM from Germany with a passion for storytelling and a deep love for all things tabletop. Whether we're diving into the gritty realism of D&D 5e, exploring the cosmic horror of Call of Cthulhu, delving into the tactical complexities of Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader, or navigating the political intrigue of Vampire: The Masquerade, I'm always ready to bring exciting worlds to life. I'm eager to collaborate and create unforgettable experiences together! Let's roll some dice! 🎲

Character creation

Creating your character

The system part of Character Creation will mainly be handled together in Session 0. This game is more about the story and roleplay, than about having to learn a complicated system. So, writing down some notes about the character you want to play should be handled before we start our game. I will provide some notes and question, which will guide you along.
